Question about Cadillac Seville

The load side of relay is that line with arrowhead. When the relay is energized that line moves to other terminal. You can see the fuse for load side of relay.
The right side of relay is the control side, has to have voltage and ground. The ground is chassis ground, the voltage should come from pcm.
Now, if you have problem with more than one system, like, no spark--fuel or fuel injector pulse. I look for a rpm signal. I don't know if trouble codes will help, but, I'd check applicable codes, anyway.

Check for a burned fusible link under the hood. If you have power at the fuel pump relay, you could have a bad ignition switch or bad oil pressure switch...accordianman

The fuel pump and sending unit is located in the tank. I hope your tank is empty, if not you will need to siphon it out. It is dangerous with the gasoline, and remember the fumes burn, not gas. You start by removing the filler hose, then loosen straps, detach sending unit wire and fuel line, then lower tank. Then unscrew the sending unit/pump and replace. reinstall.

SOURCE: How do I replace the
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You can access the fuel tank thru the trunk. Inside the trunk and underneath the carpet, there is a access panel. Remove the five screws and lift the access panel. There under the panel you will see the pump. Disconnect it and take it to the auto parts store as they usually want the old one for an exchange.
