Question about 1997 Chevrolet Suburban
All interior dome lights and inside door courtesty lights flash intermittently when the car is running and shorts out the battery over time. What causes this problem and how do you fix it. I replaced the alternator and it still occurs.
Try changing the door jam switches, one or all of them lost their ground. When the doors are closed the switches ground and the lights go out.If they are on a timer device the timer may be defective.
