Without knowing your exact year and model, remember, other systems are used in the starting circuit for safety. You may have a neural safety switch and/or may have to hold the brake lever and you may also have an anti-theft system.Any of these could be defective including the starter and the battery and connections between any of the starting circuit items.

check the adjustment under the clutch and brake pedals If the rubber stops are a bit dodgy then the pedal will not activate/deactivate the controls for the cruise.

My turn signals don't work and I've checked the bulbs, fuses & flasher.

About all that is left on the list is the turn signal switch.
Do you have power in and out of the switch ?

I have a 2000 chevy silverado 1500. 3 nights ago, my truck started up just fine with no problems and has never had a problem starting up. The next morning, I tried to start it and the dash lights and radio...

do you have remote start on that truck? if you do, it has a hood safety switch that will keep it from starting if hood is open. That hood switch is quite easily identifyable. Look for it on the drivers side, either close to the firewall or right at the front of the fuse box.itsa worth taking a look

I have a '93 jeep cherokee and my horn doesn't work. I've checked the fuse and it's fine but now i don't know where to locate the horn itself to check for disconnections or to replace...

LOOK UNDER THE LOWER AIR DEFLECTOR FROM BELOW THE RADIATOR. IF YOU HOT WIRE CAR HORN AND IT WORKS.YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE AIRBAG IN STEERING WITH HORN CONTROL BUTTONS.YOU NEED TO DISABLE AIRBAG IN STEERING WHEEL WHEN REPLACING AIRBAG AND HORN CONTROL BUTTON PAD.JUST TURN OFF RADIO FIRST, THEN DISCONNECT REMOVE THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE.WAIT 20 MINUTES BEFORE WORKING ON AIRBAG AND HORN PAD IN THE STEERING WHEEL.

Not able to get any read from an OBD2 meter (blank) May have damaged the ecu when cables were crossed while jump starting. Alternator is good (bench tested). Brand new battery (batt 100A fuse replaced)...

I've seen a handful of vehicles over the years where the jumper cables were accidentally hooked up backwards, even for a split second, and the damage done has ranged from none [other than some nasty sparks] to severe where the engine/transmission computer were damaged by the reversed polarity. Because you're unable to read any data via the OBDII connector I would suspect either a blown fuse or fuses or a damaged computer. I'd check all the fuses first then if things still don't work you may have to have a service facility do some further testing to see what is working and what isn't as far as computer inputs/outputs are concerned. Sorry that I don't have an easy fix for you but hope this helps a little bit!
