The car's engine is overheating !
Its not because you forgot to fit in the thermostat there could be other problem, like tht of the water pump, radiator clogged up, cooling fan.
You have to check them all.
Was there any problems before you pulle out tht cylinder head?

The engine temperature is going up to 3/4 when the engine is running whilst stationary

First get a diagnostic test carried out to check that the temp guage is reading correctly temperature.
Ensure that when head was repaired the thetmostat housing, radiator and generally all the cooling system was flushed out prior to adding fresh coolant. I would always replace the thermostat too.. Obviously the cooling system must be fulky bled of any possible air locks and then it needs to be tested that the electric fan(if it has electric fan), comes on at the correct time.
If the car runs ok when driving but sits high at idle it may well be a partiall blocked radiator or even a water pump (although again i would have thought that would have been replaced too).

My 2003 Jaguar X Type only blows cold air when I'm driving and both regular temperature air whenever I stop at a stop sign and then when I start again the air gets cold again what's the problem

this problem indicates that the gas in the system is going into high pressure in the compressor head from no cooling action from the fan ( engine or condensor fan--most likelycondensor fan) when the vehicle is stationary
when travelling the air is passing through the condenser and so the ac system operates as normal as like the engine temp comes down when travelling after standing
have an accredited ac specialist shop check out the problem as it may be simply a fuse for the fan or a seized fan

Engine vibration at 2100 rpm and 3100 rpm (over 80 mph)

If the engine is vibrating it will be felt when the revolutions are raised when the vehicle is stationary.

Few engines vibrate in these modern times in the way lots of engines used to do because automatic machinery during production balances to quite a high degree without being subject to the sort of distractions humans suffer.
It is during repair work later that most vibrations begin when someone makes a mistake and fits an odd clutch bolt or even an odd washer that is lighter or heavier than the others or if the engine has had overhaul work and mismatched parts have been fitted or the balance shaft, if it has one, has been mistimed.

If the vibration is not detectable while the vehicle is stationary it is probably originating from elsewhere.

How do I go about removing a 1992 Toyota engine from the vehicle so I can overhaul or rebuild ?

First I would pull plugs if its missing ,it seems like only running on 3 cylinders ,you'll find spark plug all loaded up and fouled clean or replace with new.If vehical uses excessive oil peticularly on freeway, possibly just head needs valve guide seals.

Audi fans stay on all the time

What do you mean all the time? when engine is running?
if you are on a hot climate the fans help dissipate excessive heat build up when the vehicle is stationary. what is the water temperature tell you when you are not moving?
could be that the thermostat is not 100% functional to fully open after engine heated properly and the computer attempts to remove excessive heat to prevent overheating of the engine or the engine temperature sensor is giving false readings that tell the computer that the fans need to be on to do the above.
i recommend that you do a scan of the engine, first to check for errors history, then if none are found while driving and afterwards stationary to see what the temperature reads are.

after engine shutdown usually they can still remain on up to a minute to eliminate excess heat from the radiator.

let me know if it helped.

Is there a chain drive to overhead cams? If so, maybe the tensioner, chain or gears are bad.

Heated oxygen sensor heater control circuit low , also see below

the code is for coolant leak large. Check coolant level and top off.
check the oil for moisture.
pull the plugs to see if any are steam cleaned.
either one could indicate a bad head gasket or worse damaged head.
Check to see if any new hoses have been added. tighten clamps if needed.
look on engine block for any puddles where coolant could be leaking.
pressure test coolant system and check for leaks.
If you can smell coolant inside the vehicle check the heater core.
lastly have an emissions test run with the radiator cap off and at running temperature. Start vehicle with cap off to avoid spray of hot coolant. This tests head gasket and cyl head for leaks.

I bought a 2005 dodger durango and it overheated when the temps hit 100 degrees. I changed the thermo-stat and flushed radiator and that worked until I tow anything (small boat or horse trailer).

first check whether your temp gauge is correctly calibrated. if yes then check the radiator for any blocks in the chamber or fins. if no then check for any blocks in the water jacket of the engine block. if your engine is newly overhauled then it may show an increase in temp till the working parts become free. to make the parts free keep the engine started and the vehicle stationary while changing the water in the radiator continuously till your required temperature is attained.

Overheating problem

When you had sent the cylinder head to the machine shop did they pressure test it?
If it had hair line crack there sure would be water lose in the radiator and also it would probabely too mix it wth engine oil.
Please recheck the valve clearance if they are tight you do sometimes get the over heating issues.
Check the thermostates operating what degrees must it open, try replace it with a lower temperature i mean the one to open earlier say if you have one which opens at 89 degrees C change it to a say one which opens at 79/80 degrees.
Hope this helps!
