New Battery/starter and still wont crank.

car wont crank or car wont start? I would say your battery cables are bad,, acid gets in from battery and erodes internal cable parts... need a Meter to check it out.. put the meter on battery while someone tries to start it, if the voltage drops from 13.5 to 10 then it is trying to turn over, I always have the new starters tester before I leave a store, they are remanufactured in Malaysa and they use old parts in most of them..

My 2003 bmw wont start..no clicking sound..but the lights and power windows are working.

I would check the connections at the battery first for corrosion , usually the positive grows green crud. It will let most systems work but the starters heavy load will not maintain the heavy current drawn thru the crud. If batt con ok then maybe look at the connections on the starter.

Willnot start pulled starter bench tested ok

Check all cables to the starter and the ground or negative cable from the battery to the engine or frame. They get old and break down between the insulation and you wont get enough current to start the car

Car wont start

Fully charge battery remove and take to a shop, bench test the battery. If its not the battery remove the starter and bench test it, its either the battery or the starter.

98 chevy g3500, where is the ignition modual, how do i test it?

your first mistake was buying a reman starter from autozone ....go to napa, oreilly, or anywhere but autozone to buy reman starters
alternators etc ....autozone parts are junk ...
get a new starter motor and replace the autozone one ....

93 ranger not starting, wont turn over.

Take a volt meter and put the red probe of the meter on the engine block and the black probe on the battery Negative terminal. Have somone try to crank the car. If you get a reading of over 1/2 volt, you have a bad ground from the battery to the Engine block. Check the terminals on both ends of this wire.

If the above is OK, Put the volt meter on the battery terminals. (Red to Positive) and try cranking the car. If the voltage falls well below 9.6V your battery is bad. If 9.6 V or more, you may have somthing binding in the engine. When did this car run last?

Good Luck
