Sounds like the wheel bearing is shot. If so, you need a new wheel hub with the sealed internal wheel bearing.
Raise the tire off the ground. If you can see play on the whole wheel when you shake it back and forth, that would be a bad wheel bearing.

I still don't understand why wheel and axle would stop spinning completely while the other one is going 50 miles an hour I've never heard of that have you .

kind of odd. Have your cv joints checked also. maybe something big broke apart and jams the wheel.

On A 2003 Pontiac Montana AWD, What could cause vibration in the front end while accelerating a right hand turn?

Left wheel bearing or either CV axle,(left or right) Axles usually make the vibration turn left or right. Bearings will get loader turning. When you turn right, the pressure is on the left side.

Rob, assuming this is a 4X4? Sounds like a bearing. They can vibrate, snap, clunk, all kinds of terrible noises or vibrations.
Axle u joints will also do this. Is it all wheel drive?

2001 Impala, strong right to left vibration felt in the front end ONLY when accelerating, NOT felt through steering wheel NOT felt when coasting, or slowing down, strait or turning vehicle tracks...

Has to be a drive axle, most likely an inner joint, should be able to feel the play if one is bad (jacked up to let the wheel spin freely).
Also. If the front suspension is weak,or lowered, the CV axle will bottom out in the inner plunge cup and make a terrible vibration.

Steeing wheel vibrates when i turn to the left from a stop

Does it feel like it's trying to pull back straight? if so, I would say you have a seized strut bearing on the right side.
