Poor coolant flow, bad water pump, stuck thermostat, electric fans not working, radiator plugged, bad head gasket. Just to name a few. First thing is to wash out the rad make sure it's not plugged up. Second is to change out the thermostat. It's a common fail item and it's inexpensive to replace.

2002 dodge intrepid the heat blows but doesn't get hot! Had the thermostat replaced but still no heat. What would be the problem?

either a heat switch is not switching heat to the compartment or else the thermostat in the cooling system is defective. when it is not open it does not let hot water to the internal heating system, has your engine been overheating or running hot? also as this would be a symtom.

Why does 2004 dodge intrepid sxt overheat?

may have faulty thermostat, or blocked radiator . Although if thermostat has been removed the engine can over heat at speed as coolant passes through radiator too fast to give off sufficient heat to cool engine

My heat in my 99 dodge intrepid is blowing cold air. I got a radiator flush and the heating core is working. What is wrong with my heat.

could be the thermostat has gone bad. this would over-cool the engine and keep the coolant from getting hot enuf to warm the heater core.

What is the heat transfur tube ? does the engine have to be pulled to repair ?--2001 dodge intrepid

The heat tranfer tube directs heat from the exaust to the intake manifold usually to heat the incoming fuel air charge to the cylinders of the engine to give better performance.Normally a good mechanic won't need to remove the engine.

Where is the a/c filter located on a dodge intrepid 2002

I'm not sure that there was one on a 2002 Intrepid. I had a 2002 Intrepid SE with the standard heating/air condition package (not the automatic temperature control), and mine didn't have a cabin air filter.

96 dodge intrepid without heat or power windows

Check all the fuses including the ones under the hood. If there's an alarm it could be malfunctioning, seen that a million times. The body control module is often affected by after market alarms. This would cause many of your issues.
