Hi,as you look in the engine bay you will see on the write hand side there is a big box it has aconnection block with a wire coming out of it,that is the air filter box,as you look at it from the front of the car you will see on the right hand side of the box two wire faseners and there is another one fervist away from you on the left hand side of the box,you need to feel at the bottom of the clip and pull it upwards,do this to all free of the clips, now at the front of the box on the left hand side you will see a crossheadscrew you will need a cross head screwdriver to undo the crossheadscrew, then just carefully lift the box at the right hand side and replace air filter.

there is a fuse link on the bulkhead or it can be located on the paneling around the engine bay ,, it is in a black plastic box about 2 inchs square the cover is just clipped in place inside you will find a silver coloured fuse link ,,,this usually burns out or blows and stops the glow plugs getting power ,,,,even though the glow light will still work,,,, replacement is simple it is held in place by 2 screws usually phillips or cross headed,,,, the fuse link is cheap and easily available,,, hope this helps

My rig is a 1991 Ford F250, auto, 4x4 with a 460 engine. I have a antifreeze leak somewhere above my oil filter. I think it is coming out of the silver box that my bottom radiator hose goes into... but I...

Is that silver box by chance the water pump? I would imagine the small hose is for the heater ... The big hose goes in, that's where it would draw in the water/coolant mix.

My 99 nissan frontier blower speeds work on 1,2,3 but, not on 4 . Any solutions?

usually its the heater fan resistor that is bad. it controls the fan speeds for blower motor. The blower motor is mounted under the glove box. It is in the corner somewhat covered by the kick panel. The card, at least on my pathfinder, is held in with 2 phillips head screws. The plug has 4 wires, one large wire and 3 smaller wires. You should see it very near to and parallel with the firewall.

The card has an on board fuse that is not replaceable. It is located on the passenger side fire wall to the left of the blower moter under the glove box. Held in with two silver phillps screws

2003 Chrysler T&C - AC is cold, but no fan. I thought I'd see if this was a DIY issue, or if I need a pro-mechanic. And if I need a pro, at least I would know more about the issue before being fed to...

Sounds like you need a blower motor resistor. It's actually bolted to the air duct behind your dash glove box with 2 hex screws. It's a black case with an aluminum heatsink protruding from it, and has 2 wire plugs coming from it. The easy fix is to replace it for about $85. The cheaper, but more difficult fix is to replace the chip called a mosfet on the circuit board inside the black case. It's located next to the heatsink and is held tightly to the heatsink by a metal clip. The chip itself costs $1.99 (at , part number 511-STP85NF55). Solder the new mosfet to the circuitboard, re-attach the metal clip & black casing, and assemble back in behind the glove box & plug the wires back in. Worked for me!

How do I remove the glove box? I have removed 2 screws along the inside top and one screw on the right side that also had wire to support door. But the glove box still will not come out. It won't even...

After removing the three screws, the glove box is held with two clips - one on each side. The clips will come undone when you pull on the glove box with a little force. You will then need to unplug the switch/lamp connector.

How to change my headlights on Honda 2005 CRV

easy cheesy! Ive changed mine twice. The headlights are small bulbs. Make sure you get the right one (hi-beam vs low-beam). Unplug connector at back of bulb / headlamp unit, remove rubber weather seal (pops right ot). The bulb is held in with a small wire clip that is hard to get back on but can be done. Its spring loaded. Drop wire clip, turn bulb assya 1/4 turn, and it comes right out. Remove bulb from holder and replace. Reverse steps and VOILA!

Swapping out a Stock CD/Radio in a 2005 Chev Malibu Maxx

To get the center console you need to take a lot of the interior dash off. It sounds bad, but there are no real important parts to worry about damaging. Start by removing the silver trim that is just above the glove box. It just pulls off, being attached by pressure clips. Start at one end and work your way over. Next remove the glove box, it is held on by a couple of screws. Open the passenger door and begin removing screws. This exposes a screw holding the center console panel on. The procedure for the driver side is similar to that on the passenger side. After the two screws holding on the center console are removed you can pull off the panel. It is held on by pressure clips. The Driver information center and climate control are held on by a couple of screws. The unit is now readily removable, and much to my surprise there is a good deal of room behind the radio. You can short cut some of the steps at your option, you will have to pull back some the panels to reveal the center console screws, but you risk cracking the other panels in the process.
