Should there be gas in the intake manifold

A water pump will not cause a veh to stall, unless it's overheating, check the vacuume hose at the fuel pressure regulator with the engine running, it should be dry and have good vacuume to it, seen many leaking fuel into the vacuume line, that will cause them to run like ****.. The regulator is mounted to the fuel rail.. A little round looking fitting with a single vacuume line going to it...

Where is the acv valve located, the yellow vaccum line is broken and I'm trying to replace it, and also would this make my truck run rich, and flood?

Right hand side of engine compartment, valve has 3 or 4 large (3/4") or so hoses going to it. 1 goes to air pump, 1 goes to exhaust, 1 goes to catalitic converter, 1 to air cleaner.
also 1 vacuume line from manifold vacuume 15" vacuume or better. If vacuume diaphram is ruptured or vacuume line broken resulting vacuume leak can cause lean misfire. If pump of diverter valve does not send air to correct area then engine will fail somg check and regester a high co reading. (runs to rich).

Check all the small pipes that supply boost pressure to the waste gate valve. I had a similar problem with a 2.5 TDI Transporter in Australia. I had a pipe worn right through.
