Advise on replacing or getting carburetor for my car.suzuki vitara 1992 manual with carby 2 door soft top

welcome to USA forum
we dont have 92 vitara's here we do have sidekicks /trackers
but carbs are ******* here, this car, this year, so zero CARBS.
our 92 both engines are fuel injected, TBI/MPI

finding carb rebuild kits are super hard this old a car.
and a mech, willing to touch one. 10x harder.
in the USA we have older Samurai's (Jimny in Euro speak)
the SAMMI's had carbs, and most of them (carbs) all are long long dead and gone. for all the reasons stated above, (0 support on carbs)
so we put in A nice Harley CV cab.
it is 100x more easy to tune than any weber made.
the weber needs custom jetting to work on your G16 engine.
(G13?) nah. i bet its G16 engine, right, and UNSTATED.
custom jetting, so join Vitara forum and post there.
ever google that.
Vitara forum?
its amazing that. small step.
we dont have G16 custom fueling systems pages here.
this place is a massive deep, un indexed or unorganized forum.

here is one seller, (random picked, I never spam)
study up on how CV works, it makes tuning vastly more easy.
a fact. (physics)

I have a Strikemaster 2000 ice auger with a Tecumseh engine & carb. I need a carb kit.

If you can ascertain the carb model and make you can usually get the carb kits on ebay for a lot less than you would pay at your local mower repair shop. Check it out.

The holly tree branches and leaves are turning brown and dying what can be done to stop the tree from dying?

  • Hi Elaine:
  • I've found that holly likes shade and does not like drought. Try giving it a really deep watering once a week.
  • How big and established is the tree?
  • Did the problem just start, and what changed for the tree's environment?

I have a 351 v8 in a 1974 Ford F350. I want to tune the carburetor to get better fuel economy and I don't know what sort of carbi it is, can you help?

whatever it is, the 351 is a prime candidate for a holly four pot carb conversion.if you can afford it, change it.....the difference is amazing....

Engine sounds powerful but when you take off its just loud and has no power behind it, put new plugs wires and vacume advance on it and still no power, its a 350 with a pretty large holly on it though not...

holly carborators usually get adjusted with the season... the floats on the older hollys use to get stuck all the time and cause poor performance suggest a rebuild kit

How do i fix my carb in my 1989 toyota pick up its not getting any gas somewhere

Are you sure its the Carby as it could be the fuel pump as they have a lot of problems with the pumps and so remove the puel pipe from carby and spin over engine.. If still no fuel then go to the fuel filter and if dirty replace it (it should be on the chassis or under the bonnet and try again if still no go then try tipping a small amount down the carby throught and then start if starts the carby float or main jet is faulty /but fuel must come out the fuel lines first
before carby faulty job...

Daewoo Lanos 1999 Not starting

Usually this is because the carburettor dries out and there is a needle and seat (internal on carby) that can get stuck and not let fuel in. Usually from a little dust water and general **** that comes with the fuel. Id spray the carby out with carby cleaner, remove the fuel line from it and spray out the fuel bowl. Possibly even open up the carby and completely clean it, but only if you are confident on putting it back together. But try just spraying it and cleaning it first, then tip probably a quarter (1/4) of a cup of petrol in the hole in the carby and try starting it, this should make it run. Maybe a little rough at first, but you may need to clean the carby a couple of times, and will need to pump fresh fuel from the tank. So good luck and hope it helps.
