Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
My friend has this car & it keeps on quitting just out of the blues even while driving down the road. Some say it's a compression problem in the wiring, does anyone know where it might be ?
Check for loose /broken wires to the crank sensor and cam sensor
it the insulation is not perfect or the connections are loose or corroded , the intermittent failure reports to the ECM that the piston position or cam operation is not known so the ECM immediately turns the power off to protect the engine
when the engine is stationary , connection is again made and so it restarts
regular fault with saturn vehicles where the wires are near the engine mounts
