My 95 deville rattles a lot when I hit bumps ,,,what could it be

I would start with checking the muffler and pipes to see if they move when u push on them. Make sure car has set for a while so u don't get burned

I have a 2000 chevy malibu. I recently replaced the front brake pads. After this when driving down the road when i hit bumps something in the frontend rattles, i can hear and feel it.. when i hit or ride...

A loose pad could do it.
Check the pad anti-rattle clips again. The pads should be snug in the calipers. Its possible the new pads are not the exact same shape as the old ones.

Front end rattle when i hit a bump in a 97 tahoe

If it sounds tinny, crawl under when it is cold and tap the outer heat shields on the catalytic converter first, top and bottom, and then the heat sheld attached to the body. if any of them make noise, that is the source. These are the two likely issues.

If they are snug and quiet, look for anything hanging down. Inner fender liners come loose all the time and may the source as well.

I hit a bump and it rattles in the back sounds like a wheel but my husband says no. I checked the trunk thought it might be the jack under the spare tire but that wasnt it either. what else could it be it...

There are so many things back there that could be loose and rattling, from the exhaust, strut mount, control arm bushings, sway bar links, etc. My point is that you will have to get someone who can recognize what sound and exactly where it is or have it up on a lift and manually check what is rattling.

When I push on the gas there is a rattling sound, when I let go of the gas the sound is gone. What does this mean????

it can be a number of things
is the car running ok minus the rattle
is the check engine light on
if your answers are yes then no
its probably just something loose like a heat shield
next time you drive try to locate where the sound is coming from
like driver side front or driver side back
then shake and wiggle everything in that area.
I think you ll find out its something very simple

Loud noise

Check your exhaust and rear suspension for something loose or broken. Problem could be the exhaust, a hanger or cracked pipe. In the suspension it could be shocks, worn bushings, track arms etc. When a problem like this happens you have to get under the car and grab and try to move things checking for loosness. In general try to see what is loose enough that a bump causes it to rattle or bang. Other than inspecting the rear area there is no short cut that can be taken to solve the problem. You don't want to just start replacing parts hoping to fix the problem, that can be expxnsive and unnecessary. Good Luck!!!
