'93 grand am only running on 2 cylinders

Did You or anyone change the module under the the top cover of motor, I can't think of what it is called. also check your ground wires and clean them, because if you are not getting a good nnground on engine it will do goofy stuff, I chased a problem on a 2000 saturn for weeks and finally for the heck of it cleaned every ground wire on engine and eng/body and problem went away ! refered to as chasing a gohst !

I had the valve cover gasket replaced, a major tune-up and an injector replaced. There was no sign of leakage from the heater core. Less than 24 hrs after the aforementioned work being completed the hose...

It may just be a coincidence. I would ask the mechanic to show you where the hose to the heater core is, and then have him show you where the other repairs took place. If the heater core pipe is very close to where he was working then it may be something he accidentally leaned on or disturbed while working. If it isn't right there in the area he was working, it may just be a case of bad luck. Accidents happen, and so do coincidences. You will have to decide for yourself after looking at the facts and making a reasonable judgement.

Check engine light on 2003 toyota tacoma, O2 sensor?

An O2 sensor code is a tricky one. It could mean SEVERAL different things, and I know how bad it sucks to hear this, but your best bet is to take it in and have a diagnostic ran on it at either a dealer or a good mechanic shop with a computer they can hook up to it. I had an "O2" code come up a while back on another car I used to have, and literally spent weeks and hundreds of dollars trying to fix it, and never did. Finally out of desperation took it in, paid the $90, and they found the problem and fixed it in like 30 minutes. Something I would have never even thought of was causing it (can't remember off the top of my head). After that I stopped wating time and money on check engine lights. One comes on in my car, I take it to have it ran for free at and auto parts store just to make sure it's not a loose gas cap or something, just to get an idea of what I'm looking at, then go and make an appointment to have to hooked up to a diagnostic computer to track down the problem. Good luck, and hope this helps save you some time and money.

How much time is there allowed for change heater core & to take out the dash to change flum box & what charge money wise. on a 1998 ford ranger.

Hello delton33: My name is Roger and I will answer for you. The time allowance for the heater core is 6.5 hrs. The money amount would depend on the shops prevailing wages. Depending on where you are will dictate the chargers. Costs are higher in California thea they are in Kansas.Take the shop labor rate and multiply by 6.5 hrs.If the A/C needs to be drained then add 1.5 hrs. to the job.
Please rate the answer you received. Should you need further help please just ask. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

How hard it it to change motor mounts 2001 f250 diesel 4x4, cost if a shop was to do the job?

the shop time would be 3 hrs. depending on the shop's labor rate. the right side is pretty difficult, taking 2.3 hrs of that shop time. so if your not a pretty good mechanic, the money might be well spent

Check engine light

Before you start replacing everything it is definitely worth investing $60 for a code reader to see exactly what the code is. We recently spent a ton of money on our 2000 CRV with persistent check engine. Dealership replaced rotor, cap, wires, plugs etc. Turned out to be burnt exhaust valves. Rebuilt engine was bad enough without all the money we spent for no reason before we found the real problem. At least with the code reader you will know where to start looking.
Good Luck.

No spark after cam sensor replaced - Frustrated!

check sensor: disconect conector. you have 3 wires. first(green) and last(black) are suppy should be around 5V. if not check wiring.
If ok: conect conector and access conector terminals (or wires) and conect LED test lamp between terminal 3 (black) and 2 (also black).briefly krank engine. Check that LED flashes.
hope it helps

2002 Monte Carlo, gauges/lights/beeping

It sounds like you may have a bad fuse distribution box problem due to the multiple electrical problems. Inspect the fuse box and look for any damages to the fuse box and wire harness, pay attention to the wire harness from the engine compartment to the cabin compartment, look for any damages and corrosion. Star with that to save you some money since time is money and the dealer will just take as much time as they can. Good luck and hope this help. Keep me posted, be glad to answer any questions you may have.
