sound like a pebble between the brake pad and rotor it may scour the rotor i would have the brake caliber pulled and checked maybe put new pads on if more than 30 thousand miles

you will need to depressurise the fuel system then attach a pressure gauge to the fuel line after the fuel filter , and the test before the fuel filter as this will tell you if the filter is blocked if get a much higher pressure ,you can hire a pressure gauge from local hire outlet , get a workshop manual as will give you step by step guide and will be useful in the future
