2006 chevy ssr how do i change the battery

Take it to advance auto parts, they do free battery installation. Save you some time and dirt... otherwise you would want to locate where the battery is.... get a wrench and the apropriate socket size to fit the bolt that holds the postive terminal. Unbolt it, which you don't have to all the way, just until the clamp is loose. ( Make sure you do not touch ground or metalic surfact that could be ground with your wrench) Then do the same to the otherside.... There might be a clamp that hold the battery inplace too. Unscrew those bolt and thentake out your old battery and in with the new one and tightern up everything as you taken out.
