2002ford excape light switch caught on fire and it didnt blow any fuses

Light switch(headlight switch?) is on a circuit breaker usually. Not a fuse. If wiring didn't get ruined, a new switch might fix it.
You need an experienced mechanic to check it out for a shorted circuit before you trust it driving in the dark. don-ohio (:^)

I have a Ford Festiva and my indicator fuse keeps blowing out, anyone know what this problem would be?

Obvious short circuit probably caused by spring contact at base of bulb. bulb holder deformed or bent. they still use this design in many trailer lights.

Ford Fire Recall Lawsuit
With co-counsel, Lieff Cabraser is representing owners of Ford trucks and other vehicles in lawsuits against Ford for the damages they suffered allegedly due to a defect in the cruise-control switch which caused the vehicle to catch on fire.

Ford Motor Company announced a massive safety recall on 1994-2002 vehicles to correct a problem that could cause the cruise control deactivation switch to overheat and create an underhood fire. you may want to look into this futher before messing with it,,,best of luck.

No brake lights and fuse keeps blowing.

see the end of this message for important information........................................
there were some models where that oil switch was causing fires .. even fatalities but i dont see that recall on your model ... it would be a sensible thing though to not replace that fuse until the problem is fixed .. as i recall the fires were casued by brake fluid leaking into a switch mounted in the braking system/speed control .. the switch had power on it all the time so it was even dangerous with the key off .. since i didn't see that recall for your model that doesn't mean a similar problem couldn't exist ..i would error on the side of safety .. here is a list of recalls for your explorer

WOW .. your car has been recalled for that fire condition .. i just missed it .. a little further look and here is what i found :................
http://www.switchfires.com/recall.htm
if this is your case then its not safe to drive or even to put the car in or near your garage until repairs are made ..

My dashboard lights will not come on. The dimmer switch is set to the highest position and the fuse is fine. Can anyone help?

Most likely a bad dimmer switch. Even if the fuse looks good, try switching it with another just to be sure.

2002 Civic Headlights not working correctly

A dimmer switch may blow the fuse. The high beams may be causing to much of an energy drain and therefore they shut off.
