What tool do you use to take the screw holding the front rotor on a 05 chevrolet uplander

I haven't come across too many Uplanders but i have noticed that GM has started using a small allen head screw to secure the rotors to the hubs in the last few model years. I believe it takes a 6 or 7mm allen head socket to remove it. Make sure it fits snug or it will round off and will require it be drilled out.

My high beams and marker lights work, but the low beams do not

Take a test light and test for power to the low beams. A common issue is that one low beam burns out, and the operator does not notice, but they always notice when the 2nd one goes out... MAy be just a bulb issue, and testing will confirm.

This is a common problem with Broncos, The dealer can solve this by Re-Flashing the ECM, Engine Control Module, or at worst, Re-Programming the ECM. Auto Plaza Ford in St. Louis quoted $129.00 for the diagnosis and Re-Flash and $109.00 additional if it needed a complete Re-Program. The Problem will come back if not fixed.

2002 caravan, heater problems

That was a common complaint a few years back, due to the fact that the heater core is a little too much higher than the engine, which requires that extra push it gets when engine RPM's increase. One thing I did do on my Caravan was remove my hoses to the heater core, and use a small external pump with hoses to circulate C.L.R. through my core for a while, then let it sit with CLR in the core overnight.Next day I circulated it through again, both ways by reversing hoses, and then re-attached hoses, bled air out of system, and notice quite an improvement in heat at idle. Once cleaned out, the heater core allowed coolant flow through it better at idle. If your stumped by explanation, take it to an automotive shop, or a Rad shop, and get a quote on flushing that core out for you. I recommend the CLR, but it might be too time consuming for you , but a flush will probably show some noticeable improvement.

I don't know if this will help those b2600 owners, mine was a 92 automatic, it use to have all sorts of problems similar to like rough idling, stalling after it ran for a couple of minutes. Changed fuel pump and filter but did not help.Running out of idea so I removed the ECM (computer) and noticed a blown capacitor (ECM at passenger side kick panel). Goggled the ECM number and found out it is a common issue to that ECM built by Mitsubishi, common to Mazda and Mitsubishi cars and trucks on certain model years. Working fine now for almost a year after I sent it out for repair.
