SOURCE: Power windows stopped working

If the power to the illumination and the switches is out in the door, I would say it is a broken wire in the A-pillar to the door on the driver's side.

This is a Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire, it powers both the illumination and the windows themselves.

The switch itself may be faulty. Have you tested it with an ohmmeter? Have you tested power to the passenger switch with a voltmeter?

Get a test light probe so you can see where power is getting to starting at the fuses under the hood. All the fuses there should have power getting to them even with the engine off.

Brake lights. Cab light works when brake pedal is depressed.Turn signals work properly but no brake lights at rear.Is it in the colum? Vehicle is a 1995 ford F250 4X4

Hi, if the schematic is right, the cab stop light is on the same fuse as the others. And, since there is no relay, the likely problem is the turn signal switch or the wire leading to the turn signal switch. Please let me know if you have questions or need instructions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Ok i have a 97 dodge ram 1500 sport 4wd 5.2 l 318ci and my brake lights dont work the tail lights come on fine the fuse is good there is power at the light i checked with test light i am dumbfounded any...

There is a brake switch on the pedal about half way up. check this and see if you have power coming out when depressed. If you do then the problem lies in the turn signal switch, Some times it's a loose wire.

My rear brake lights dont work only the cab light, gmc sierra 6 cyl, what can I look for

your rear stop lights are on a different fuse from the cab stop light. Look in the box under the hood for a fuse marked VEH STOP. See diagram below.

Rear lights, brake lights and turn signals do not

I would check if they also run off of a relay, You could have a wire that is either broke or it is grounding out somewhere.
