Ford Focus 2010 2.0 tdci titanium makes an emergency stop on its own

Hi
that sounds extremely dangerous!
I assume you have an electric handbrake mechanism.
Best bet would be to have a diagnostic test carried out to check the speed sensors and brake controller....asap!

Why is my central lock and electric window not working

Solenoid does central locking. Remove door trim to access door lock solenoid. Check to see if its just the drop rod fallen off. If its all there get solenoid checked while the trim is off.

Have a 2001 ford focus. first central locking suddenly stopped working and can#t even lock door with key. Now the speedometer and odometer keep dropping to 0 and then back up again and today the engine...

I would test your alternator..when you car isnt charging and battery voltage drops below 9.6 volts your instrument cluster will perform a reset...or shut off..as for the door locks im not entirely sure why they would stop working...good luck

Doorlocks dont work except from passenger side. mirrors dont work. windows dont work from anywhere

First, check all fuses to make sure that none are blown.

If the door lock switch works on the passenger side, then the drivers side door lock switch is probably faulty. Use a multi-meter to test the Drivers Side Door Lock Switch (Black and Pink/Light Green wires unlock the vehicle, and the Black and Pink/Yellow wires lock the vehicle)
If the switch is tested and found to be operating properly, you may have a faulty Body Security Module or Drivers Side Door Lock Actuator.

If neither of your Power Mirrors are working, you probably have a faulty Exterior Rear View Mirror Switch, Power Mirror Module, or blown Central Junction Box Fuse.

If none of your Power Windows are working, you probably have a faulty Accessory Delay Relay or a blown fuse in your Central Junction Box or a faulty Master Window Adjust Switch (all of the Power Window Switches feed through this Master Window Switch). If the Power Windows didn't stop working at the same time, you may have faulty Window Adjust Switches, or faulty Power Window Motors, this is very unlikely though. It would also be a good idea to inspect the wiring for any obvious damage.

Central locking problem with Ford Focus

Usually this is a faulty door solenoid. If the central locking activates when just the driver's door lock is used, then it's almost certainly the solenoid in that door alone. If you can activate the central locking via the passenger door, then it's a bit more complicated as more detailed diagnostics need to be done to isolate the fault.

Your Ford dealer, an automotive electrician and some automotive locksmiths can all quickly diagnose and fix this issue. It's easily a DIY fix, but you may end up replacing perfectly good parts and you can't then return them.

If on a very tight budget then you'll find all the parts you need at G.W.Bridges Breakers yard, it's an absolutely gigantic yard just near the Pease Pottage services at the southern end of the M23. However, you have no idea of the condition of used electrical parts like these so it's usually a false economy to fit anything other than new.

Hope this has helped you, if so please rate my answer.
