Look at the bottom radiator hose where it comes out of the water pump. It may have a leak at the hose clamp or a hole in the hose. What is the engine type and make and model of the car you are trying to trouble shoot.

Dodge 318 v8 coolant leak

It could be coming from the timing cover. On older 318 engines there is a water passage on each side of the timing cover between the pump and the block. If the timing cover decays it can allow coolant to leak into the timing cover, which usually goes into the crankcase.

I can't figure out how to get the water pump out of my 1997 rodeo? Do I need to pull the harmonic balancer?

On most vehicles you do, so very likely, in your case.
You need good access to install the pump, so you don't cause a leak.

How do i repair oil leak

yes, you will need to remove that plat as well as the harmonic balancer. if you do not have a harmonic balancer pulley puller your local parts house should have one. you will also need a new timing belt as the old one will have been stretched if not recently, within the past few days, been installed.

The pully assembly for the serpentine on my 2004 santa fe has a loose pully, ie: it came apart when I pulled off the grime shield in the wheel hub, IDK which of the pullies this loose part connects to, and...

It sounds like the harmonic balancer came apart. This is a two part pulley seperated by a rubber gasket. The part itself is much less expensive at auto parts stores than the dealership but you may need to wait a few days for it to arrive as most stores won't have the part in stock. How do i change the water pump which way does the pulley screw on the harmonic balancer turn in order to loosen the pulley?

You need a harmonic balancer puller to remove the harmonic balancer. Most auto parts stores that offer loaner tools will have one for you to use and they should have directions if you've never used one before. To replace a water pump, first drain your coolant, remove belt, unbolt and remove water pump, scrape old gasket material from block surface. Place your bolts into new pump, slide gaskets over bolts then attach to engine, reverse other steps, make sure to close radiator petcock (drain valve) fill with 50/50 coolant mixture and start your vehicle to make sure gaskets aren't leaking any coolant
