How to replace the cam/crank position sensor in 2002 buick 301ci.

Yep remove the belt three bolts thought the pulley ( 13 MM heads) lift pump just some as the lines go behind the altenator. Just lifted some allows room to remove the bolt and reach in with long nse pliersand pull and wigglee the senser out. The cam senser has connector problems at it's plug. and the engine will run just fine with it unplugged except it will turn the check engine light on.

Installing a serpentine belt on a 2002 buick rendezvous

There is an idler pulley just below the alternator in the back of the engine, passenger side. Loosen by using a socket wrench to loosen the central bolt (there are two, one upper and one lower, you want the UPPER bolt). You don't need to remove, just loosen to relieve tension on the belt. The diagram for the belt is actually on a little plastic plaque on the front left of the engine.
