More than one cylinder is without spark

check coil or coil packs... contacts .. corrosoion
leads
plug itself

Code P0300 is a code that is generated when your engine has a misfire that is not related to only one cylinder. Sometimes this code will be set in addition to other codes such as P0301 which means that there is a misfire on cylinder 1 (cylinder 1 is the number one cylinder when looking at the firing order.

Borrowed from OBD Codes.com:
"Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly.
A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

  • the engine may be harder to start
  • the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
  • other symptoms may also be present
  • code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
    • Faulty spark plugs or wires
    • Faulty coil (pack)

P0300 code is a random multi misfire in the engine.

Could be a coil pack or an injector, or down to poor service maintenance...

Have code p0300 active just replaced fuel pump, all spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, engine back fires, and has explosion in the air filter area

Code p0300 is multi- misfires [ any number of the cyinders ]. Sometimes when a fuel pump is replaced, the system will have air inside and will mis & backfire untill the air is cleared back thru the return line, or blead out the test port. This will set the p0300 code. It's rare to have a backfire bad enough to have an explosion, bleed the lines thru the test port untill you see no more bubbles comming out.

99 Silverado code PO 300 what causes it? What parts needed to fix

p0300 is a random misfire. A scanner will need to tell the primary cyls that have problems. A (qualified) repair shop will need to check it. Could be from vac leaks, to fuel pressure, to spark problems????/

Where is the purge solenoid location on a 1996 Chevrolet silverado 1500 ???? trucks runs bad and I was told it was that or some other vacuum leak also I have code p0300 and p1441 if anyone can help...

A P0300 DTC is a misfire code. The P1441 is a no flow during purge code which has to do with the purge solenoid. With the misfire code present I would say you have a vacuum leak on one of the hoses. The purge solenoid is located in the passenger side, rear of the intake manifold.
