Will an ac delco 219-505 GM pollution pump fit a 2000 chevy S10 sport pickup 2.2 liter vin: 1GCCS1451YK288100?

The only way to tell is to pull yours out and match it up. Bolt holes, pulley size and how the air tube point. You could call a parts store, they maybe able to help.

What does the code p1494 for a 2000 jeep grand cherokee mean?

The code refers to the leak detection pump that is part of the gasoline vapor control system which is for pollution minimization. It says either that the pump switch or mechanical operation is faulty. According to a Chrysler manual I have, you would find the pump, probably on the underside of the vehicle by tracing the hoses related to the vapor recovery tank that may be in the right front corner of the engine compartment (I don't know Jeep designs) and then check to see if the pump starts when you turn the ignition to the run position when the vehicle is cold. Then remove the vacuum hose side of the pump and see if it draws a vacuum. If it does, then the vacuum-detecting switch that detects that the pump operation is OK may be faulty. If the pump doesn't start or doesn't draw a vacuum then the power to the pump, the pump itself, or the vacuum line may be leaky. Finally, the powertrain controller could be at fault.
In any case, that is where the issue is, and it should not be a major issue if it is handled by a knowledgeable mechanic. But you could check it over yourself if you are so inclined.

Where is pollution pump

Heres a picture of the electric air pump, this pump is located under the car in the area of the radiator, if you start the car cold and listen it will run and sounds like a jet engine, take note that all cars of this type came with the airpiump, some dont have it, anyway its located in the area listed i will check and see if theres a diagram of its location to help find it also, hope this is helpful, good luck.johnjohn2_30.jpg

Hello there:
Here is the code
P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction
It is another air pump that pushes air into the exhaust so the cats can burn more pollution.. It does not affect drive train, just emmisions it shouldnt cost about $400 if it is the air pump, Unless there is a secondary problem, ok?
Hope this helps you out

Code P1413

The code refers to the secondary air pump. This pump helps reduce pollution by injecting air in the exhaust system for up to 30 seconds at cold startups.

Possible causes:
Bad Air Pump. Fix: replace air pump, it is found low, under the battery
Bad Relay (controls the air pump) :
The relay is in the relay box next to the battery. It is the relay in the left upper corner when looking towards the driver.

Po411

This is a code related to the air flow from the air pump (aka pollution pump) into your exhaust system. This air pump takes outside air and injects it in the exhaust stream after the engine to help burn off any residual fuel or pollutants. When P0411 comes up, the control module detects a lack of air flow either caused by a defective air pump, leaking/clogged air hoses, or bad check valves.

Diagnostic error code

The code refers to the leak detection pump that is part of the gasoline vapor control system which is for pollution minimization. It says either that the pump switch or mechanical operation is faulty. I had this happen on a 2000 Dodge Dakota and a replacement Gas Cap fixed the problem. A faulty gas cap seal can also cause this.

Good luck

Air pollution

Your secondary air injection check valves are probably stuck open allowing exhaust to back flow into the hoses, melting them when the AIR pump isn't running.
