Hi Vinny Ostrowski, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Are you talking about the wire that connects to the brake caliper?

No turn signals, 1 driver brake light bad, ABS light on. 2002/2003 CVPI

Sounds like you have 'ground' issues. Apply the brakes using a broom stick or more apropriate tool so that the brake lights are activated. Then go to the brake light that is not bright enough. using a test-light with a sharp pointed probe, poke the ground wire close to the bulb (usually a black wire) make sure the test light is attached to a grounded bolt. if the brake light gets brighter with ground added, you need a new ground wire. Splice it in to the existing wire & attach it to a bolt. Lights should work better with proper ground. (each bulb has a positive post & neg. post, don't add ground to the side with power coming through it from Battery (+)(red light on test light) - probe wires FIRST with test light to find (+) POS. Hot wire, and leave that one alone.

How do i turn off the brake warning light on range rover 2004

You can reset this fault code using the buttons on your dash - you don't need a dealer to do this. As you already know, you need to replace your pads and the brake wear sensor - this is a sacrifical item. Once this is done, do the following:-
Using the buttons on your dash - there are 2 - one on the LHS (Trip reset) and one on the RHS (In between Tacho and temp gauge)

*Press and hold Right button and turn ignition to first position (I or Accessory)Display should show "Check Control OK" then a short time later "Test Nr.01"*Press the Left button and you should see the car info in the display. Add the last FIVE digits of the car identity number together (NOT all 6!) to get a unique ID for your car.*Press the Right button repeatedly until you see "Test Nr.19"*Press and hold the Left button until you see the number matching the unique ID you calculated, then release.*Press the Right button to select this.*Press the Left button repeatedly until you see "Test Nr.21" - Reset All Defect Codes*Press Right button to reset the codes.Done!

Need to find the reverse wire to hook up a peak backup camera thanks ernest

Hi!
You did not specify the yr and model of your vehicle, but the procedure is the same, remove the tail light assembly as specified on your owners manual to replace a light bulb. Apply the Parking Brake and turn the ignition switch to the RUN position (do not start the vehicle), press the brake pedal and place the Shifter in REVERSE. Remove the Reverse light bulb and use a test light grounded to the vehicle chassis to find which one of the two wires going into the reverse light socket is the 12v+, once located, replace REVERSE light bulb, place shifter lever in PARK and turn key OFF.
Splice the 12v+ wire and connect the 12v+ lead from your camera to it, get your Ground (-) from the vehicle chassis.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

Yesterday my back brake lights both went out. How do I fix the problem? Thank you, Yvonne

Hello Yvonne:

1st thing to check is your Fuses, Could be that its only a Blown Brake Light Fuse.

If your Brake Light Fuse is good ,Then i would Try to put New Bulbs in and see if its That for some reason both bulbs just happen to burn out at same time.

And if still no Brake Lights you'll need to Replace your Brake light switch, which is located drivers side under dash mounted to the Brake pedal Metal part up above where you push the brake pedal.

You'll see the wiring that connects to the Swith,Just pull off the wire connector and remove the brake light switch.

Yvonne this will get your brake lights working.

Thank you for using FixYa Please let me know how my Solution helped you out by Voting ,and a Testamony would be appreciated.
Thanks Again From d_hubbs

How do I wire a 4 pin flat plug to my 1996 Mazda B2300 for trailer lights? 4 pin connectors came with kit, but don't know how to wire to my truck lights. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Robert

Rob I can't remember if your Mazda has separate brake and signal lights.
I think that model year did. If so you will need a module to make it work on a 4 pin trailer connector. These will be readily available at your local auto supplier at a reasonable price (Around $20). It will also have a wiring diagram in the package.
If the signal and the brake light are on the same bulb it will be easier. You may be able to buy a package at your auto supplier that you simply pull a plug apart at the rear of your truck and insert the complete harness.

Where is relay for horn in kp61 starlet

the relay is usually located either under the hood driver side there is a fuse box there it should be close tp the firewall. and if you can not find it there look under the dash for the interior fuse box. it will be either on the side of the dash as you open the door or by the floor borad next to the brake pedal.

I have a chevy Silverado with a tow hitch package. I'm try ing to wire in a new hitch because the last one got smashed, I can isolate the right and left blinkers and the brake lights, but on a 4 slot flat...

I can't look up your wiring diagram because I don't know model year?
On some makes and models, the lower brake lites are wired through the multifunction switch. Your turn and stop use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. On a left turn, the left turn signal works, but the brake lite on the left doesn't. Now, the brake lamp on the right does work. The high mount brake lite also will work. The highmount brake lite is usually wired differently than the lower brake lites.
W/o being able to look at wiring diagram, I don't know if my info is applicable on your vehicle? I need model year.
