The blower motor may be jammed from leaves getting in to the housing, remove it and check, if the case is free then replace the blower motor.

2004 Saturn Vue blower motor quit working

A mechanic would check for voltage at the blower relay or the blower motor, then at the resistor. The power comes from the relay, thru the blower switch, then to the resistor, then the motor.
The resistor can burn a wire inside causing an open circuit which can be tested with a volt-ohm meter.

1999 buick century with dual temp controls was making loud squeeking sounds and final quit working. if it is the heater blower as previous eluded to, where is th eheater blower located and what is th...

Heater blower motor is the proper terminology for this. Best getting it with the fan attached. Said unit is under the hood attached with small bolts to the heater core box on the passenger side firewall. It's the round piece that sticks out and is easily replaced once you have everything out of your way.

When I turn on the fan past the 3 speed it sounds like a low, loud, growling sound like it has airplane engines turning on. I also smelled a fowl odor in side my car, my husband thinks a field mouse is in...

It's very possible that a mouse has gotten into the duct work and ended up trapped inside the blower motor fan. The now dead mouse would cause the blower fan to be out of balance & wobble considerably and make noise plus it would smell quite a bit. I see a handfull of dead mice in blower motor fans each year so it's not all that uncommon. The fix is to remove the blower motor and clean out all the debris. Most of the time the blower and fan are fine and can be reinstalled once they are cleaned up. Hope this helps you find your problem!

Where is blower motor resistor exactly? 2002 grand prix no 1-4 blower motor speeds, sometimes 5 comes on when it feels like it doug v.

Exact,is hard to say,to many cars and trucks to keep up with.Look very near the blower motor,it will be close to it.It could be under the hood, but it will be in the blower box, mounted with two screws, and a plug in,with about 7 different color wires. The resister is mounted, and can be taken out from the outside of the blower box.It will be real close to the blower,to keep it cool. Now usally, the blower is what makes them go out, reason being that the blower is pulling to many amps. The blower may be quit, and run good, but the blower motor is the cause for the blower resister failier.

Blower fan resistor module replaced, worked for 2 days quit again

HIGH RESISTANCE IN THE BLOWER MOTOR CAN CAUSE YOUR PROBLEM, OR A BAD RESISTOR.
THERE IS NO REAL GOOD WAY TO CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE BLOWER MOTOR.

Ihave a 1992 caddy deville Ican hear the blower motor blowing .

I may have had a similar problem, for a long time my blower motor made a loud howling/roaring noise, hard to explain, but I only heard the noise when the blower was turned on. It continued to blow air for a couple years then just quit, the noise it made continued for another 6 months to a year without air-flow. Finally it quit blowing air at all. I eventually replaced the blower motor and no more noise and air flow was restored. Hopefully you already have fixed this because removing and replacing the blower motor wasn't fun.
