I believe my chevy has a front wheel bearing problem. My tire warning light is on and tires are not low. Coud it be telling me its a front problem?

Does not sound like a bearing problem...I suggest you check the spare..most vehicles with the air pressure devices have the in the spare also...Check your wheel lugs make sure they are tight..to check the bearing jack the vehicle up one wheel at a time and Check for play in the bearing..there should be zero play in and out up and down or side to side...if there is need to replace it..good luck..

What is the torque setting for the front wheel bearing on a 2009 Chevy Aveo?

There is now specific toqure for wheel bearing nuts in general .
Its more of a feel thing bring it down slowly with no brake parts interfering when you rotate the rotor. You will fell it getting harded to turn .You want some restiance but not to much .
And I find a lot of times when the bearings have been replaced repacked you have to retighten them after a few thousand miles .
Its common sence the bearing has to be tight so the wheel isn't moveing side to side but it has to spin freely or the bearing will be distroyed .

My AVEO 2006 is making a humming noise, coming out in the middle engine compartment of the front or dashboard area. It start to be hear when speed goes between 55 kph and 80kph, and sounds like it is

The most common reason for a humming noise in the front area of your car would be a wheel bearing noise. I would start by having the wheel bearings checked.

There are two ways to check the bearings, one would be to jack wheels of the ground and check for free play in wheels, the other would require having a tech test drive the car, a good test drive by a tech can tell you if it is a wheel bearing problem.

A wheel bearing noise will get louder as the speed increases and the tone will change if the wheel is turned left or right.
You can try this test yourself, get car up to speed of noise and then listen as you turn wheel to left and then right and if the tone changes then i would suspect the bearing and next step is to find out which one, this would need to be done on a lift. good day

Its like a horrible noise like its stuck i dont know how to explain the noise its not a clicking noise. its like a screaming noise and it really only does it when the weather is cold

Check out your hub on that side. If the wheel bearings are going out, it will make a noise as you describe. The wheel bearings and hub are a 1-piece assembly that is relatively easy to change, and doesn't cost a lot in parts. Stand in front of your vehicle a ways, directly in front of the wheel. Does it appear to lean in at the top? This would confirm that your bearings are worn really badly, but isn't always obvious.
The other part that can make noise in those conditions are the CV joint on that side, but it's usually a clicking noise when you turn really sharp, especially when in reverse.

Chey aveo front hub bearing what is this?

yes front wheen drives have hub bearings. Most of them need the hubs to be pressed apart to replace them. the hub bearing supports the end of the CV drive shaft closest to the wheel. hope that helps.

2003 Chev Venture Van Moaning Noise

hi from uk from your symptoms re moaning frm drivers side ? assume front?? best advice at this stage is to raise the front wheel and check for any undue wear in the wheel bearing by rocking the wheel top and bottom there should not be any tilting of wheel ? also make sure the wheel is free to rotate with no noise /roughness if so ? then you have a front wheel bearing failing however whilstyou check drivers side? also check the other wheel for same and it would be a good idea to check brake pads for wear during checks as you can do these if/when it becomes apparent the wheel bearing req's attention? all the above is subject to assuming you have checked tyres and pressures are correct ? you could pop car into local tyre depot and they could do checks on above for a quick diagnosis? hope this help check it out ASAP as this could be serious best wishes

Terrible Front End noise

Good Day,
It would make sense that it is suspension related as it does not make noise at idle but going down the road it does. I would lean towards it being a bad wheel bearing. Does it sound like it's coming from one side or the other? Also how many miles on the car? Does it get louder when the wheels are turning?

You can check the bearing easily by jacking up that wheel and moving it side to side and up down checking for play, a little bit of play is normal.

Hope this helps and Good Luck
