SOURCE: i have a 2004 ford

this could be your switch problem, or a relay problem. you need to link out the supply yo the side lights from your switch, if they work it is your switch gone. if they do not work you need to look in your handbook to see where the sidelight relay is and do the same there link it out direct if the lights work your relay is faulty and needs replacing. hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1996 Ford Ranger No Tail lights. I have brake

If you happen to have a trailer wiring adapter plugged into the harness, remove it first and see if they start working. I've more than one of those mess up the rear lights. If you have the three-bulb tail lights, use a test light to see if there is power to the tail bulb sockets. If there isn't, replace that fuse just to be sure, then trace back the harness to find the break in the wiring.

SOURCE: 2006 ford e250 van\r\rear tail lights dimmed and now dont work(.)

check the fuses and relays under the hood next to the battery. if they still dont work it might be in the wiring or if it has a tow package it might be in the trailer wiring
