SOURCE: what two coolant lines connect to the throttle body on a 3.1 multi port engine

There are no coolant lines connected to the throttle body, just the two fuel line. The high pressure side and low pressure side (Return line) and I believe the lines don't even connect to the throttle body on a multi port engine, the lines go to the fuel rails to the injectors.
Good luck

SOURCE: 96 Nissan Maxima continues to have engine light

I had a similar problem - took it into 'Nissan Professionals' and they changed everything you did as well, and had no luck. After 4 or 5 times working on it, they told me that it was a 'loose wire' that had to be re-soddered and then the problem was fixed. I don't know where the wire was, but they made it sound like it was in or around the fuse panel under the hood.
I hope this might shed some light on the problem.

Car goes great for awhile and then engine stalls when stopping , and is hard starting unless you leave key on for awhile to let fuel pump catch up.

This is not the fuel pump, this is an idle air control issue. Either the idle air control valve is gummed up or the throttle body interior is filthy or both, the fix is very cheap. Disconnect the air ducting between the air filter cleaner and the throttle body. Using WD40 spray and a cloth clean the throttle interior and throttle plate until like new. Pivot the throttle plate by applying pressure with your fingers and clean in as far as you can behind the throttle plate. Remove the idle air control (IAC) valve from the throttle body and clean the associated passageways and pintle valve. Make sure the electrical connectors to the IAC is clean and reassemble everything. You should notice an immediate improvement to engine performance from start up and no more engine stalls.

I'm pretty sure your car has an "Idle Air Control" and this may be bad or the connectors to it could be corroded.

Vehicle is used for mail delivery. outside temps in the 90s. two&half hours into delivery the engine stalls periodically. after few cranks it starts. temp gauge & radiator ok. oil pressure gauge is...

Clean your Throttle body with throttle body cleaner or Deep Creep made by Seafoam. When the carbon and varnish build up in your throttle body get's hot, it gums up the IAC (Idle air control) valve which help moderate your engine's rpm to keep it from stalling.
If the IAC is stuck due to the gum of the carbon and varnish in your throttle body, you have stalling issues which you have described. Start with that and replace your air cleaner filter since your going to clean your throttle body.
Good luck and be safe, thank you for using fixya and post us back.

Camry 1991- really sluggish and jerky

It's just going to take some time and simple cleaning. If there is an Auto Zone around your area, you can buy all the things needed to get the car running 100% again in no time at all for under $40.00. Here is a few things that I do when i get a new car with a few years under it's wheels. Buy a bottle of injector cleaner for the fuel injectors, like STP, a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil to add to the engine oil, and two can's of Throttle body cleaner for the throttle body and follow the instructions on the can. Make sure it's throttle body cleaner. The Carburetor cleaner is to corrosive for the throttle body gasket. Once you have reached 3,000 miles, service the engine and have them replace the oil (5W-30) and filter and add another Marvel Mystery Oil. This will clean out all the carbon and sludge in the engine to free up the oil passage ways, replace the Air filter, and PVC valve every 30,000 miles or once a year. Cleaning out the throttle body and adding the fuel injector cleaner will also help the fuel system and have them replace the fuel filter every 30,000 miles or once a year to ensure there is no fuel restrictions in the fuel system. Once this has been done you will notice the engine runs like new and you may have to use the Marvel Mystery Oil and fuel injector cleaner every 6 months to keep the internal engine free from sludge and carbon. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help you keep the car running 100% for a long time.

How t0 ajust the ilde screw on chev lumina

There is no idle adjustment screw. Idle is controlled by the ECM (Engine Control Module.) It controls what is called the IAC (Idle Air Control) motor, located in the throttle body. The throttle body and the IAC motor pintle have a tendancy to develop carbon deposits from the PCV system.

In order to fix your problem, you'll need to wipe the carbon deposits from the throttle body. First, purchase a can of throttle body/air intake cleaner from your local auto parts store. Remove the air intake boot from the throttle body, exposing the throttle blade inside. Open the throttle and spray it and the throttle blade down liberally with the cleaner. I like to let it soak for a little while, re-spray, then wipe it all clean with a rag. Repeat if necessary until it's clean and clear of deposits. If it has never been cleaned before, you'll notice a lot of black 'soot' deposits in there. When it's clean, you'll notice that the throttle blade most likely moves better, without sticking.

Re-install the air intake boot and start it up. It will be a little hard-starting at first, as the engine needs to **** in all the rest of that cleaner and burn it off. It'll only happen this one time and once it burns off, the engine should idle normally. If it still appears to be a low idle, you may need to consider taking a closer look at the IAC motor.

I hope this helps! :)
