Is there a way to disable the power locks on my 1997 Honda CR-V so I just have manual door and window locks? Is it the power lock fuse? If so, where is it?

If you want all door locks disabled, remove the fuse. If you want only one disabled, you will need to disassemble the door and unplug the actuator connector. His a diagram of the underhood fuse box. Fuse # 27 will disable the locks if removed

Do a reset on the door system, by pulling the door fuse. I don't have location, possibly drivers side fuse box.

My drivers door on keyless entry for 1997 Honda CR-V is locked and wont open is there some override so the key can open the door

Find the fuse located in the engine compartment or
lower driver's side dash. Disconnecting the negative
battery cable should also do the job. Admit this is
an unusual problem, the same solenoid in the door
locks and unlocks the door and may be jammed or
being energized to lock the door.

2004 CR-V how do I disable the child lock out for doors? No user's manual with my car.

Open the door and look on the rear side of the door, between the outside and the inside. You should see a small black lever that can slide up and down, and it should be marked what is enabled and what is disabled.

I live in Montreal ( harsh winters ), I've seen a few CRV'S with rusted latches, so rusted that the dor doesn't open at all, even manually.

Take a look at the latch for major rust.
