Question about Volkswagen Cars & Trucks
I recently inherited a Volkswagen 2003 Convertible Beetle, I noticed that it has a CD player in the Armrest/Storage Bin. I can't seem to make it work, and the instruction manual says nothing about a CD player. None of the buttons light up, nor do I hear it making any noise.
Check the connector to the player at least one wire will be battery voltage with the key turned on.

The real real answer. If the threaded stud is in the armrest there is a clip at the bottom of it you have to push it up and pull the stud out with vice grips twisting as you pull out. If both the studs are in the chair you have to make sure the clip is pushed up & out of the way then simply line up the arm rest and push it on. It should clip into place. Hope that is clear enough. Also I would put some Lock Tight on the threads. (Blue)
