Hi,if I was you I would put the distributor in the only way it will fit.
as long as you have got the valve and crank timing gear setup correctly you cant do eny damage.if you have set the valve and crank so when you turn the crank twice from tdc mark and the marks line up then you can sort out the ignition timing out after.
hope this was some help

Is their naybe and other distributor that i can modfy to fit on a 1199cc uno engin

You don't have enough information. What model is the car, does it have a point breaker ignition or is it electronic. Why do you want to modify the distributor?
There are electronic ignition kits available to fit to your existing points breaker ignition, so no need to fit another distributor.

Can l kindly have a diagram on how to replace brake shoes on a ford bantam rocam 1.3

Cannot help you here as never seen a bantam but as its a ford i would assume its the same as a ford escort or fiesta ,their not difficult trust me the foreward leading shoe has a leading edge the leading shoe is the thicker one going to the front of the car.the handbrake cable fits to the trailing shoe the one with the arm on for the cable ,the auto adjuster fits just below the slave cylinder with the adjuster to the right or rear of the car smaller spring to the lower and spring with the two coils either end to the top some have a snail cam adjuster some have a little wheel depends on the age of the vehicle ,yes its fiddly but its not a difficult job

I would like to fit a cold air intake to my 2001 1600i Bantam (Rustler) but the airflow meter is part of the existing airbox and not at the intake manifold like other cars. How do I go about bypassing it ?

either leave well alone or cut it out of the air filter and modify it or make it fit in some way shape or form which is not insurmountable or just leave well alone as you will not make this vehicle go any faster only noisier ,also you could have a problem with the annual mechanical vehicle inspection because this modification is not listed as a permisable modification on the certificate of conformity so you could leave yourself open to a fine if caught driving a modified vehicle
