Question about Ford F-150
The usual cause of this is the system is low on refrigerant, if so you have leaks and will need to address that before adding any refrigerant, to test the ac compressor clutch you will need to jumper the low pressure switch in the receiver drier, that is the round can attached to the larger of the two ac lines, the switch is in that can, take the connector out of the switch and put a paper clip in it that jumps the two diff wires together, with the ac switch set to on the compressor should run, at this point u have confirmed the low charge situation. please get back to me with the results of this test of compressor clutch. u can call me at home if u like 925-459-0571
