This is what I found it could take 3 times some said one it will start when your done 1 put the key in turn it like your starting it and let go like it started leave the key in the run in about 10 min the security light goes out be watching tun the key off 5 seconds then turn the key to the start position if it starts your done if not do the same thing again then when the light is out tun it off 5 seconds and start again if it starts your done if not do it a third time yes 30 minutes but it should start good luck
Could be the key switch, or the neutral safety switch. Try cranking it in neutral. You may have to trace the circuit from the key switch to the starter to find the problem. Also the ground connections between the engine and battery.
Put the original key in the ignition and let it remain there for 15 minutes, then try to start the vehicle. If that does not work, then the only solution is to have the system replace at a dealership for $1000, or install a bypass system. The only bypass system on the market that really works is from the following website. http://newrockies.ca/vapsbypass. Good luck. I hope this helps.
verify that you have a fully charge battery and that you have the same amount of voltage at the battery as at the starter when the key is turned to the start position. If not repair fault at positive cable either at battery or at starter. If voltage checks good. Use a remote starter and turn key to the on position and try to crank over engine with remote starter. if engine cranks over. You have a defective starter solenoid and starter must be replaced.
Is your security light on. If your light is on then you have a security problem that means the fuel to your engine is getting cut off. It is a security feature built for the car so no one can steal it all you have to do is tun the key to the on position and wait 10 minutes the security light will be blinking during this time when the light goes off then turn the key to the off position and then try starting the car. This has happened to me you can see it in your car manuel
