REPLACE RADIATOR 2005 CHYSLER 300C 5.7 HEMI ?

Four bolts hold it onto the support bracket. Remove both radiator hoses and disconnect the electrical connections to the temp sensor and fan sesnor. Take out the 4 bolts and lift up and away. Transfer the sensors from the old radiator to the new one. Do not mix up the locations of the sensors. Re install the radiator, put back the 4 bolts and reconnect both radiator hoses. Fill the radiator with the correct mixture of antifreeze and water for your vehicle. If it won't all go in, start the engine and let it run until the thermostat opens and then finish adding the coolant. Add water to the radiator until water can be seen circulating. Add some water to the overflow container and put the cap on the filler neck. Run a little longer then shut the engine off. When the engine has cooled off check the level in the overflow bottle and add coolant to the mark.

Mitsubishi challenger is using toomuch water

check for loose hose clamps . expanded top hose ( over clips). faulty radiator cap, signs of corrosion at top or bottom of radiator. overheating engine remove radiator cap wqhen warn and completely fill run engine and watch for air bubbles in radiator Make sure that the radiator is sucking water back from the overflow bottle The little hose is good and the cap is allowing this to happen. check for leaks in the heater hoses anjd taps

Keep looseing water out of radiator into resivior no water coming from exhaust no water in the oil cannot see a water leak only water comic from head of resivior it's a Mitsubishi l200 4 life+ 55reg

Most radiator start draining water if there is microscopic leaks or punctures. The system is a sealed unit and is not supposed to drain unless there is huge pressure within due to heating that can release the pressure cap on the radiator to release water to the overflow tank.
So the radiator must be filled and allowed to stand and if there is loss after a day or after the engine is running for sometime , you must check the pressure cap or else there is fault on the radiator ASSUMING that the engine is working normal- timing and tuning in correct condition.

2005 kia sedona 76,000 overheats the engine

My 2005 KIA Sedona started overheating in Winter 2009/2010 and was loosing antifreeze. No leaks from the heater hoses or radiator hose. No pressure in the radiator either.

I had found a site where folks were discussing the same things and someone brought up the rear heater. Apparently KIA has run steel hoses running under the chasis to the rear of the van and these rot.

I looked under the rear at the wheel well and located the lines and they were wet with antifreeze. I traced the lines to the firewall and found where the lines were connected to the coolant system and bypassed the rear heater lines.

I then filled up the radiator and overflow tank with antifreeze and started the van. I rocked the van to get air to move out of the lines and kept adding antifreeze until it was full. then used the overflow tank to top it off.

Hope this helps.

I'm not too familiar with Saturns ('98). How do I fill the radiator. There is little smoke around where the engine is and I just checked the oil, coolant, and transmission and they're fine, so I'm guessing...

if the radiator was empty the engine would be extremely overheated, some dash lights would be telling you about it and you could smell it. Radiator coolant level is maintained through the overflow container on top of the inner fender, it looks kind of like a wiper fluid container. opaque plastic, snap open lid, connected to radiator via a hose, has hot and cold fill lines on the outside.

Coolant low light came on?

you have a overflow container that ties into your radiator it should be white plastic with black cap check the level and fill with straight antifreeze up to the fill line not the top but if it is already full and you have low coolant in the radiator then you most likely have a bad water pump this is if the light is acurate and not malfunctioning
