Question about Cars & Trucks
No knock sensors on the early style Dodge Ram engines. If you've got a knock issue, you need to check some other things. Part of your hot weather spark knock is a combination of high intake air temps, low octane fuel, and too much spark advance, or too quick of an advance curve in your PCM.
