I need to replace the alternator on rabbit 2007. How remove?

Open windows aand a door, disconect battery. Alternator usually held on by 2 or 3 bolts, loosen all of them and then slide the alternator along the arme so that the drive belt becomes loose, remove belt and then remove the bolts. I am not sure how the electrical cables are attached on that make but these need to be disconected, take phot's to make sure that you reconect the wires in the correct way, or use masking tape to identify which cable goes where, I would still take phots just incase. Indeed and job should be photoed at each stage if you are not sure what to do, then you have a picture recored of what goes where. Hope this helps
