Where exactly is the fuse for the trunk lock?

I believe their is a fuse box behind the glove box. You don't need tools to access it. Their are two tabs that stop the box from falling all the way open. with the plastic warm gently bend the tabs area inward and open the box further. If the glove box does not open like this the fuses are not there.

I havin trouble installing a new stereo into an 81' f150 custom. the problem is that I cant get it to turn on. there is no power running into the stereo. its brand new fresh out of the box. ive hooked up...

You need to have a power supply that only works when the Ignition key is on or also on when the key is in ACC. position.

There are fuses which have a power tap or stud on one end for a connector. Then put a matching connector from your radio power wire to match.

Go to your fuse box and you will see blank openings. Test with a Voltmeter and find an open slot which gives you power with the Ignition switch. Position the fuse I described with the power tap on the end such that power must go through the fuse to reach the power tap. Then connect the radio.

Trunk will not open using dash switch

The switch is powered by the key switch, it could be that the switch is not getting power. I would take the switch out of the glove box and check for voltage with the key on.

Porsche carrera 4s,windows are both up,battery is disconnected, can't get the trunk open!

Behind the passenger side wheel covers, up towards the front bumper, is a stainless steel braided cable with a loop. Pull this to manually open the trunk. It is well hidden and an emergency solution to opening the trunk if the servo has failed, your fuse box power connection fails, or you have no power. Good luck

3rd gear looses all power starts jumping

Check the clutch plate. It is worn out. Have it changed. As you are going to get the gear box opened, to change the clutch plate check the gears and see that they are not worn out. Also check the functioning of fuel pump before you open the gear box. Probably it is not pumping enough fuel when the power is required.

How do I open the trunk of My 2007 Colbalt when the battery is dead problem. And I can't get My car key out of My Ignition to open it.

Are you locked out of the car? If so, you'll need AAA or some other service to come unlock the door. Once you can get in, you should be fine.

Well on my 300m the heater and a/c dont turn off even if i press the off button

If you have the automatic controls you'll need to replace the blower power module behind the glove box.

1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
(2) Open the glove box.
(3) Flex both sides of the glove box bin inward near the top far enough for the rubber glove box stop bumpers to clear the sides of the glove box opening then roll the glove box downward.
(4) Reach through the glove box opening to access and disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector for the power module from the module con-nector receptacle.
(5) Reach through the glove box opening to access and disconnect the blower motor pigtail wire connec-tor from the power module connector receptacle.
(6) Remove the two screws that secure the power module to the evaporator housing.
(7) Remove the power module from the evaporator

98 4Runner rear window no longer operates

Open the rear hatch. Pull off the inner trim panel. Look to see if there is a little box with a bunch of wires connected to it. It may be at the lower edge, driver side. Turn the key on. Test for 12 volts at the solid BLUE wire (there is only 1 solid blue wire) that is connected to the box. Is there power? If not, check the 30 amp POWER fuse. If there IS power, this box may be bad. This is the power window relay for the rear hatch. The wiper/washer and the rear window motor power all come out of this box.
Check for power & get back to me before you buy a relay box, there are a few other tests I could share with you before we pronounce the relay box bad...
