The term you mean is actually torque. Cylinder head torque is usually specified in foot pounds, or in the metric world, newton meters. It describes how much twisting force should be applied to tighten the head bolts.

The following is verbatum from the mitsu engine overhaul manual... Steps 7 and 8 are a bit cryptic, but it seems like after you tighten the bolts to 20nm in the CORRECT PATTERN... you then go around tightening 1/4 turn through the pattern, then a final 1/4 turn through the pattern... do NOT tighten each bolt to 20, the 1/4 then another 1/4 before going to the next bolt, the idea is to get EVEN tightening across the head, so tighten her three times around the pattern! Now for the verbiage from Mitsu's overhaul manual...


(1) When installing the cylinder head bolts, check that the
shank length of each bolt meets the limit. If the limit is
exceeded, replace the bolt. - Limit: Max. 96.4 mm (3.79 in.)
(2) Install the washers.
(3) Apply engine oil to the bolt threads and washers.
(4) According to the tightening sequence, tighten the bolts to
75 Nm (54 ft.lbs.).
(5) Loosen the bolts completely.
(6) Torque the bolts to 20 Nm (14.5 -ft.lbs.)
(7) Tighten the bolts l/4 turns (90”) more.
(8) Tighten the bolts l/4 turns (90”) additionally.

Replace belt a/c


It may depend on engine litre size. 4 cylinder shows top pulley for ac belt, needs to be loosened. to release tension.

6 cylinder shows tensioner pulley on mounting bracket for compressor. Loosen the bolt for tensioner pulley to release tension.

BOLT INSTALLATION


Apply engine oil to the thread of the bolts and to the washers.
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque, using the tightening sequence shown.
Tightening torque: 54 ft-lb +/- 2 ft-lb
Loosen all bolts fully in the reverse order of tightening.
Re-tighten the loosened bolts to the specified torque in the tightening sequence shown.
Tightening torque: 15 ft-lb +/- 1 ft-lb
This step is to make it easier to ensure you are making 90 degree turns. Make a paint mark across each bolt head and cylinder head.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts 90 degrees in the specified order.
Tighten the bolts another 90 degrees in the specified order and check that the paint marks on the cylinder head bolts are aligned with the paint marks on the cylinder head.

REMOVAL

1. Drain the coolant and disconnect the upper radiator hose.
2. Remove the breather hose (between the air cleaner and the head cover).
3. Remove the air-intake hose.
4. Remove the vacuum hose, fuel hose and coolant hose.
5. Remove the cables from the spark plugs. The cables should be removed by holding the boot portion.
6. Remove the ignition coil.
7. Remove the power steering oil pump and bracket.
8. Remove the intake manifold.
9. Remove the heat protector and exhaust manifold assembly.
10. Remove the coolant pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley.
11. Remove the timing belt cover.
12. Remove the timing belt tensioner pulley.
13. Remove the timing belt.
14. Remove the head cover.


15. Remove the cylinder head assembly. The cylinder head bolts should be removed by using Special Tool, Cylinder Head Bolt Wrench (09221-32001) or equivalent, in the sequence as shown in the illustration in two or three steps.
16. Remove the gasket pieces from the cylinder block top surface and cylinder head bottom surface. NOTE: Make sure that the gasket pieces do not fall in the engine.

INSTALLATION

1. Clean all gasket surfaces of the cylinder block and the cylinder head.
2. Install a new cylinder head gasket onto the cylinder head assembly. Apply sealant to the gasket and do not reuse the old cylinder head gasket.


3. Install the cylinder head bolts. Starting at top center, tighten all cylinder head bolts in sequence as shown in illustration, using the Cylinder Head Bolt Wrench (09221 - 32001) or equivalent. Repeat the procedure, re-tightening all cylinder head bolt to the specified torque. (torque spec is Cold Engine 105-115 Nm (76-83 ft lb) )
4. Install the timing belt tensioner pulley.
5. Install the timing belt on the camshaft sprocket, making sure that the tension side is tightened by turning the camshaft sprocket in reverse, all timing marks are in alignment.
6. Adjust the timing according to "Timing Belt"
7. Install the rocker cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Rocker cover belt:

2.5-3.5 Nm (25-35 kg.cm, 2-3 ft. lbs.)

8. Install the timing belt cover.
9. Install the new intake manifold gasket and the intake manifold. Tighten the nuts and bolts to the specified torque.
10. Install the new exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold. Tighten the exhaust manifold attaching nuts to the specified torque.
11. Install the surge tank and tighten the nuts bolts to the specified torque.
12. Install the power steering oil pump and bracket.
13. Install the ignition coil.
14. Install the air intake hose.
15. Connect the vacuum hose, fuel hose and water hose.
16. Install breather hose.

Cylinder Head Removal & Installation SOHC To Remove:
  1. Relieve fuel system pressure.
  2. Remove timing belt cover. Camshaft timing marks kia-03-20-7032.gif

  3. Turn crankshaft until timing mark on front housing and the arrow "2" on the camshaft pulley align.
  4. Loosen lock bolt on tensioner.
  5. Pry tensioner away from timing belt and tighten lock bolt to relieve tension on the timing belt.
  6. Remove timing belt from camshaft pulley.
  7. Disconnect battery negative cable.
  8. Remove 3 bolts that secure accelerator cable and air intake hose to cylinder head cover.
  9. Detach accelerator cable and place off to side.
  10. Remove the following;
    • Air hose
    • Air ISC air hose
    • Breather hose
    • Vacuum hose from air intake hose
  11. Disconnect mass air flow sensor electrical connector.
  12. Remove air intake hose.
  13. Remove PCV valve from cylinder head cover.
  14. Remove ISC air hose from idle speed actuator.
  15. Remove air hose from behind intake manifold.
  16. Remove 2 screws from high tension wire protectors.
  17. Detach wire loom from holder at rear of cylinder head cover.
  18. Detach vacuum tube at rear of cylinder head cover.
  19. Remove vacuum pipe. Cylinder Head Cover kia-03-20-7042.gif

  20. Remove 7 cylinder head cover bolts.
  21. Remove cylinder head cover and gasket.
  22. Disconnect 2 ignition coil electrical connectors.
  23. Disconnect 2 fuel injection electrical connectors at rear of cylinder head.
  24. Disconnect the following electrical connectors;
    • Oxygen sensor
    • Throttle position sensor
    • Idle speed actuator
    • Oil pressure switch
    • EGR vacuum solenoid valve at intake manifold
  25. Disconnect heater hose from elbow.
  26. Disconnect brake booster vacuum hose and cruise control vacuum hose from surge tank.
  27. Detach wire harness from rear of cylinder head.
  28. Disconnect purge control solenoid vacuum hose from intake manifold.
  29. Disconnect fuel hose from fuel connector assembly.
  30. Remove grounding bracket.
  31. Remove 4 bolts and intake manifold bracket.
  32. Remove starter.
  33. Detach water bypass hose from bypass pipe.
  34. Disconnect water hoses from oil cooler.
  35. Disconnect fuel hose from fuel pipe.
  36. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield.
  37. Remove exhaust flange nuts and front exhaust bracket bolt.
  38. Lower exhaust system. Cylinder head bolt loosening sequence kia-03-20-7050.gif

  39. Loosen cylinder head bolts in 3 steps in proper sequence.
  40. Remove cylinder head bolts and washers.
  41. Remove cylinder head, intake manifold and exhaust manifold as an assembly.
To Install:
  1. Install NEW cylinder head gasket.
  2. Install cylinder head, intake manifold and exhaust manifold as an assembly.
  3. Tighten cylinder head bolts in 3 steps in reverse sequence that was used during removal. Tighten bolts to 62 ft lb (84 Nm).
  4. Install front exhaust bracket bolt. Tighten bolt to 20 ft lb (27 Nm).
  5. Install NEW lower exhaust flange gasket and 3 nuts. Tighten nuts to 24 ft lb (31 Nm).
  6. Install exhaust manifold heat shield. Tighten nuts to 35 in lb (4 Nm).
  7. Connect fuel hose to pipe.
  8. Connect 2 hoses to oil cooler.
  9. Attach water bypass hose to bypass pipe.
  10. Install starter and bolts. Tighten bolts to 34 ft lb (46 Nm).
  11. Install intake manifolds bracket and 4 bolts. Tighten bolts to 32 ft lb (45 Nm).
  12. Install grounding bracket.
  13. Connect fuel hose to fuel connector assembly.
  14. Connect the following electrical connectors;
    • Oxygen sensor
    • Throttle position sensor
    • Idle speed actuator
    • Oil pressure switch
    • EGR vacuum solenoid valve at intake manifold
  15. Connect purge control solenoid vacuum hose to intake manifold.
  16. Attach wire harness from rear of cylinder head.
  17. Connect brake booster vacuum hose and cruise control vacuum hose to surge tank.
  18. Connect heater hose to elbow.
  19. Connect 2 fuel injection electrical connectors at rear of cylinder head.
  20. Connect 2 ignition coil electrical connectors.
  21. Install cylinder head cover.
  22. Install 7 cylinder head cover bolts. Tighten bolts to 60 in lb (7 Nm).
  23. Install vacuum pipe and 2 bolts at rear of cylinder head cover. Tighten bolts to 60 in lb (7 Nm).
  24. Connect vacuum tube to pipe.
  25. Connect loom holder to rear of cylinder head cover.
  26. Install 2 screws to high tension wire protectors.
  27. Install air hose to behind intake manifold.
  28. Install ISC air hose to idle speed actuator.
  29. Install PCV valve to cylinder head cover.
  30. Install air intake hose.
  31. Connect mass air flow sensor electrical connector.
  32. Install the following;
    • Air hose
    • Air ISC air hose
    • Breather hose
    • Vacuum hose from air intake hose
  33. Attach accelerator cable.
  34. Install 3 bolts that secure accelerator cable and air intake hose to cylinder head cover. Timing belt pulley timing marks kia-03-20-7035.gif

    NOTE: Timing belt pulley timing mark and timing mark must be aligned.
    Camshaft timing marks kia-03-20-7032.gif

    NOTE: The arrow at "2" on camshaft pulley must be aligned with timing mark on front housing.
  35. Install timing belt.
  36. Install timing belt cover.
  37. Pressurize fuel system.
  38. Start engine and check ignition timing.

Ifailed to get on tdc before removing old timing belt how do I get back in time so Icanreplacebelt.


This is the complete procedure from the service manual on how to replace the timing belt start to finish, start over to assure u get it right, if u mess up the engine will be damaged

Removal for 1.6L engines : ONLY 2006 to 2009 CARS


Engine removal is not required for this procedure.

1.Remove the engine cover.

2.Remove the RH front wheel.

3.Remove the 2 bolts and RH side cover.

4.Temporarily loosen the water pump pulley bolts.

5.Remove the alternator drive belt

6.Remove the air conditioner compressor drive belt

7.Remove the power steering pump drive belt

8.Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

9.Remove the 4 bolts and

10.Turn the crankshaft pulley, and align its groove with timing mark "T" of the timing belt cover. Check that the timing mark of camshaft sprocket is aligned with the timing mark of cylinder head cover. (No.1 cylinder compression TDC position)

11.Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and crankshaft pulley

12.Remove the crankshaft flange

13.Remove the 4 bolts and timing belt lower cover

14.Remove the timing belt tensioner and timing belt.

15.Remove the bolt and timing belt idler

16.Remove the crankshaft sprocket

17.Remove the cylinder head cover.

(1)Remove the wire harness bracket

(2)Remove the ignition coil.

(3)Remove the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) hose and the breather hose from the cylinder head cover

(4)Remove the engine cover bracket

(5)Loosen the cylinder head cover bolts and then remove the cover and gasket.

18.Remove the camshaft sprocket.

Hold the portion of the camshaft with a hexagonal wrench, and remove the bolt with a wrench and remove the camshaft sprocket.

INSTALLATION:

1.Install the camshaft sprocket and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

(1)Temporarily install the camshaft sprocket bolt

(2)Hold the portion of the camshaft with a hexagonal wrench, and tighten the bolt with a wrench
Tightening torque :78.5 ~ 98.1N.m (8.0 ~ 10.0kgf.m, 57.9 ~ 72.3lb-ft)



2.Install the cylinder head cover.

(1)Install the cylinder head cover and bolts
Tightening torque :7.8 ~ 9.8N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2lb-ft)

(2)Install the engine cover bracket

(3)Install the PCV(Positive Crankcase Ventilation) hose and breather hose to the cylinder head cover.

(4)Install the ignition coil.

3.Install the crankshaft sprocket

4.Align the timing marks of the camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket with the No.1 piston placed at top dead center and its compression stroke.

5.Install the idler pulley and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

Tightening torque :42.2 ~ 53.9N.m (4.3 ~ 5.5kgf.m, 31.1 ~ 39.8lb-ft)

6.Temporarily install the timing belt tensioner

7.Install the belt so as not give slack at each center of shaft. Use the following order when installing timing belt.
Crankshaft sprocket →idler pulley →camshaft sprocket →timing belt tensioner

8.Adjust the timing belt tension.

(1)Loosen the tensioner pulley mounting bolt and apply tension to the timing belt.

(2)After checking the alignment between each sprocket and each timing belt tooth, tighten the mounting bolt and one by one.

Tightening torque :19.6 ~ 26.5N.m (2.0 ~ 2.7kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 19.5lb-ft)

(3)Then recheck the belt tension.
Verify that when the tensioner and the tension side of the timing belt are pushed in horizontally with a moderate force [approx. 49N (11lb)], the timing belt cog end is aprox. 1/2 of the tensioner mounting bolt head radius (across flats) away from the bolt head center.

4)Timing belt tension measuring procedure
(by a sonic tension guage)
Rotate crankshaft in clockwise direction to set 1st piston on top dead center (TDC) and rotate crankshaft in counterclockwise to 90° then measure the belt tension in the middle of tension side span (in arrow direction of above illustration) by free vibration method.


9.Turn the crankshaft two turns in the operating direction (clockwise) and realign crankshaft sprocket and camshaft sprocket timing mark.


10.Install the timing belt lower cover with 5bolts

Tightening torque :7.8 ~ 9.8N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2lb-ft)

11.Install the flange and crankshaft pulley, and then tighten crankshaft pulley bolt. Make sure that crankshaft sprocket pin fits the small hole in the pulley.

Tightening torque :137.3 ~ 147.1N.m (14.0 ~ 15.0kgf.m, 101.3 ~ 108.5lb-ft)

12.Install the timing belt upper cover with 4 bolts.

Tightening torque :7.8 ~ 9.8N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2lb-ft)

13.Install the water pump pulley and 4 bolts.

14.Install the power steering pump drive belt

15.Install the air conditioner compressor drive belt

16.Install the alternator drive belt

17.Install the RH side cover with 2 bolts

18.Install the RH front wheel.


Tightening torque :88.3 ~ 98.1N.m (9.0 ~ 10.0kgf.m, 65.1 ~ 72.3lb-ft)

19.Install the engine cover with bolts.


Tightening torque :3.9 ~ 5.9N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3lb-ft)

install:
  1. The cylinder head should be cleaned and inspected prior to installation.
  2. Lightly oil all bolt and stud bolt threads before installation.
  3. Clean all gasket mating surfaces thoroughly.
  4. Install a new head gasket on the cylinder block. WARNING Always use new cylinder head bolts when installing the cylinder head or damage to the engine may occur.
  5. Install the cylinder head on the cylinder block.
  6. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in reverse of the removal sequence. Tighten the 2004 cylinder head bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm). Tighten an additional 70°, plus 70°, plus another 50°. Tighten 2005 bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm). Tighten an additional 60°, plus 60°, plus another 10°.
  7. Install the right engine mount. Tighten the engine mount attaching bolts to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  8. Install or connect the following:
    • Intake manifold
    • Intake manifold support bracket. Tighten the bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
    • Throttle cable
    • Surge tank coolant hose
    • Heater hose to cylinder head
    • Fuel feed line at the fuel rail
    • All vacuum hoses
    • Exhaust manifold
    • Rear timing belt cover
    • Timing belt tensioner. Tighten the bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
    • Idler pulley. Tighten the bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
    • Intake and exhaust camshaft gears. Tighten the bolts to 49 ft. lbs. (68 Nm).
  9. Apply a small amount of gasket sealant to the corners of the front camshaft caps and the top of the rear camshaft cover-to-cylinder head seal.
  10. Install the valve cover using a new gasket
  11. Align the timing marks on the camshaft gears.
  12. Align the mark on the crankshaft gear with the notch at the bottom of the rear timing belt cover.
  13. Install the timing belt and rotate the water pump clockwise to apply tension to the timing belt.
  14. Tighten the water pump bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
  15. Adjust the timing belt tension.
  16. Install or connect the following:
    • Spark plug wires
    • Upper and lower timing belt coversCrankshaft pulley. Tighten the bolt to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm), plus an additional 30°, then another 15°.
    • Accessory drive belt
    • Air cleaner housing
    • Radiator hoses
    • Front splash shield
    • Right front wheel
    • Coolant temperature sensor
    • Fuel feed line from fuel rail
    • IAT sensor
    • Intake manifold pressure sensor
    • DIS coil connector
    • Fuel injector connectors

Dear Friend
Removal: Support engine: remove -engine mounting, auxiliary drive belt, water pump pulley, crankshaft pully bots & crankshaft pully, timing belt covers....turn crankshaft to TDC on No 1 cylinder, ensure crankshaft sprocket, camshaft sprocket, oil pump sprocket & balancer shaft sprocket timing marks lighned. Pls note: Timing marks on camshaft sprockets should align with cylinder head uppter face, dowl pins on camshaft sprockets should face downwards....Slacken tensioner botl. Move tensioner away from belt & tighten bolt.
Remove: automatic tensioner unit bolts, automatic tensioner unit, timing belt, crankshaft bolt, crankshaft sprocket, crankshaft sprocket guide washer...slacken balancer shaft belt rensioner bolt, move tensioner away from belt & lightly tighten bolt...Remove balancer shaft belt.

Installation:
ensure timeing marks aligned.Note: Timing marks on camshaft sprockets ahould align with cylinder head upper face, exhaust sprocket mark is on recess but inlet sprocket mark is on tooth. To check oil pump sprocket positionded sorrectly: remove blanking plug from cylinder block, insert 8mm diameter Phillips screwdriver in hole. ensure screwdriver is inserded 60mm from face of cylinder block. If screwdriveer can only be inserted 20mm-turn oil pump sprocket 360". Inset screwdiver again.
Fit balancer shaft delt in anti-clockwise direction starting at crandkshaft sprocket....Slacken balancer shaft belt tensioner notl, turn tensioner clockwise to tension belt. Tighten bolt to 15-22 Nm... Applu thump pressure to belt at tentioner, belt should deflect 5-7mm. If not: Repeat tensioning procedure.... Install - chankshaft sprocket guide washer & crankshaft sprocket.
Thighten crankshaft centre bolt, tightening torque:110-130Nm. Please note, ensure crankshaft sprocket guide washer is fittet correctly. oil threads & contact face crankshaft botl before fitting.

Timing on 4.7 help


INSTALLATION
  1. Using a vise, lightly compress the secondary chain tensioner piston until the piston step is flush with the tensioner body. Using a pin or suitable tool, release ratchet pawl by pulling pawl back against spring force through access hole on side of tensioner. While continuing to hold pawl back, Push ratchet device to approximately 2 mm from the tensioner body. Install Special Tool 8514 lock pin into hole on front of tensioner. Slowly open vise to transfer piston spring force to lock pin (Resetting Secondary Chain Tensioners).
  2. Position primary chain tensioner over oil pump and insert bolts into lower two holes on tensioner bracket. Tighten bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.). CAUTION: Overtightening the tensioner arm torx® bolt can cause severe damage to the cylinder head. Tighten torx® bolt to specified torque only.
  3. Install right side chain tensioner arm. Apply Mopar® Lock N, Seal to torx® bolt, tighten bolt to 17 N·m (150 in. lbs.). NOTE: The silver bolts retain the guides to the cylinder heads and the black bolts retain the guides to the engine block.
  4. Install the left side chain guide. Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.). CAUTION: Overtightening the tensioner arm torx® bolt can cause severe damage to the cylinder head. Tighten torx® bolt to specified torque only.
  5. Install left side chain tensioner arm. Apply Mopar® Lock N, Seal to torx® bolt, tighten bolt to 17 N·m (150 in. lbs.).
  6. Install the right side chain guide. Tighten the bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.).
  7. Install both secondary chains onto the idler sprocket. Align two plated links on the secondary chains to be visible through the two lower openings on the idler sprocket (4 o'clock and 8 o'clock). Once the secondary timing chains are installed, position special tool 8515 to hold chains in place for installation (Installing Secondary Timing Chains on Idler Sprocket).
  8. Align primary chain double plated links with the timing mark at 12 o'clock on the idler sprocket. Align the primary chain single plated link with the timing mark at 6 o'clock on the crankshaft sprocket (Timing Chain System).
  9. Lubricate idler shaft and bushings with clean engine oil.
  10. Install all chains, crankshaft sprocket, and idler sprocket as an assembly (Installing Idler Gear, Primary and Secondary Timing Chains). After guiding both secondary chains through the block and cylinder head openings, affix chains with a elastic strap or the equivalent, This will maintain tension on chains to aid in installation. NOTE: It will be necessary to slightly rotate camshafts for sprocket installation.
  11. Align left camshaft sprocket “L” dot to plated link on chain.
  12. Align right camshaft sprocket “R” dot to plated link on chain. CAUTION: Remove excess oil from the camshaft sprocket bolt. Failure to do so can result in over-torque of bolt resulting in bolt failure.
  13. Remove Special Tool 8515, then attach both sprockets to camshafts. Remove excess oil from bolts, then Install sprocket bolts, but do not tighten at this time.
  14. Verify that all plated links are aligned with the marks on all sprockets and the “V8” marks on camshaft sprockets are at the 12 o'clock position (Timing Chain System). CAUTION: Ensure the plate between the left secondary chain tensioner and block is correctly installed.
  15. Install both secondary chain tensioners. Tighten bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.). NOTE: Left and right secondary chain tensioners are not common.
  16. Before installing idler sprocket bolt, lubricate washer with oil, and tighten idler sprocket assembly retaining bolt to 34 N·m (25 ft. lbs.).
  17. Remove all locking pins (3) from tensioners. CAUTION: After pulling locking pins out of each tensioner, DO NOT manually extend the tensioner(s) ratchet. Doing so will over tension the chains, resulting in noise and/or high timing chain loads.
  18. Using Special Tool 6958, Spanner with Adaptor Pins 8346, tighten left (Tightening Left Side Camshaft Sprocket Bolt) and right (Tightening Right Side Camshaft Sprocket Bolt). camshaft sprocket bolts to 122 N·m (90 ft. lbs.).
  19. Rotate engine two full revolutions. Verify timing marks are at the follow locations:
  20. Lubricate all three chains with engine oil.
  21. After installing all chains, it is recommended that the idler gear end play be checked (Measuring Idler Gear End Play). The end play must be within 0.10–0.25 mm (0.004–0.010 in.). If not within specification, the idler gear must be replaced.
  22. Install timing chain cover (Refer to 9 - ENGINE/VALVE TIMING/TIMING BELT / CHAIN COVER(S) - INSTALLATION) and crankshaft damper (Refer to 9 - ENGINE/ENGINE BLOCK/VIBRATION DAMPER - INSTALLATION).
  23. Install cylinder head covers (Refer to 9 - ENGINE/CYLINDER HEAD/CYLINDER HEAD COVER(S) - INSTALLATION). NOTE: Before installing threaded plug in right cylinder head, the plug must be coated with sealant to prevent leaks.
  24. Coat the large threaded access plug with Mopar® Thread Sealant with Teflon, then install into the right cylinder head and tighten to 81 N·m (60 ft. lbs.) (Cylinder Head Access Plug Location).
  25. Install the oil fill housing.
  26. Install access plug in left cylinder head (Cylinder Head Access Plug Location).
  27. Install power steering pump (Refer to 19 - STEERING/PUMP - INSTALLATION).
  28. Install radiator fan shroud.
  29. Fill cooling system (Refer to 7 - COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE).
  30. Connect negative cable to battery.
