Low beam headlight stays on permantly

Could be that the low beam relay is stuck. If you can locate the relay usually in a fuse box in engine compartment ,remove it and see if lights go out.

1 of my maine beam light stays on .even when car is off

Open the fuse box then Remove the relays labeled "26" and "27." These are the high-beam relays. Replace them with new 10A relays and place the cover back onto the fuse box. Close the hood. If the problem persists, then the issue is with the headlight switch.

When I use my turn signal switch to turn left or right, it makes my high beam lights turn on. However if I hold my switch a certain way and click it to turn left or right the high beams dont come on. Now...

My vote would be for the switch. I'm not sure but I think there are seprate relays for all the diffrent functions on the switch. Look online for a wiring diagram for the switch, I found one for my lincoln. Hope this helps. Peace

2005 Dodge caravan. The Headlights are not staying on. When we turn the switch, sometimes they come on, sometimes they do not. It's getting worse.

Hello, on the van you have a high beam fuse and relay. On the low beam you also have a fuse and relay. Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse controlling the low beam lights. If you do not find a blown fuse have some one to turn the key on and turn on the high beam lights. During this time locate the low beam headlight relay and place your finger on top of relay, have the other person to switch from high beam to low beam lights. You should feel a click in the relay when they make the switch from high to low beam. If not replace the relay and the problem should go away. Hope this will help you.

Thanks

When I pull the lever on the steering wheel to engage my high beams the blue light displays, but as soon as I let the lever go - the high beams go off. I cannot get the high beams to stay on. How do I fix...

Sounds like the lever switch in the steering column broke, it's not staying clicked in the on position, and some of them are not easy to change.
