Question about Ford Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

I have a 2013 Ford Focus and just yesterday, on the highway, only between 50 and 55 mph, it produced a humming sound, coming from the passenger side rear tire.

The tire could be damaged or defective or underinflated

Testimonial: "Will let you know once we get it out of the shop. We checked inflation and all 4 tires are filled as directed in psi. visually can't see any flaws, but need to have it checked out, as it may be u joints or something else. Thanks for your response to this query, and I will let you know after mechanics check it out."

Noise coming from the rear end of my 2004 honda pilot it really only occurs during cold weather and after it warms up you hear it slightly

When does the noise occur, while driving only, or driving and idle, in gear, or in neutral and park? If it occurs all the time (while driving and at a stand still in cold weather) it could be the fuel pump. If it occurs only while driving, it may be a wheel bearing. Describe the noise (humming, grinding, whirring, etc), and what is the mileage on the Pilot? Answer my questions so I can fine tune my answer. Thanks!

Hearing growling whine sound from passenger side front. Growling produces fast vibration (not shimmy). Sound increases on left hand turns. Sound more pronounced below 60 mph.

You need to replace your wheel bearing. Ford Escape bearings usually need changed around 80,000+ miles from my experience.
