Why does my Hitachi turn itself on?

It may be broken, or, if it turns on every day at the same time, it is probably set to power on as part of the wakeup setting. Find that and turn it off or change it to a better time.

1995 dodge 2500 cummins, oils pressure dropped to zero started running rough, brakes got extremely stiff when it happened, anybody know what's wrong?!?

if the vacuum for the brakes is from the back of the alternator then when the engine gave out there would be no boost action for the brakes. Check for why the oil pressure dropped. (loose hose -plug-oil filter). The running rough may be from a failing engine from no oil pressure.

My 99 ford contour's steering is VERY stiff while driving, and I had put powersteering fluid in it earlier this morning. what's going on?

may be you have a leak and your car run out of powersteering fluid or your powersteering pump os no good.

My power steering keeps being stiff in the morning especially when its cold outside, if the temp drops below 50. what could be the problem.

check if you have enough power steering fluid in the reservoir then the car is sitting for a while...if its low then you might have found the problem...if it is okay then you might have a power steering pump problem...
Good Luck!

Brake master cylinder location. Stiff brakes first thing in the morning

master cylinder is in the engine compartment on the firewall in front of the driver seat. Stiff brakes do not indicate a bad master cylinder, but could indicate the booster. Listen for vacuum leak at the booster with engine running. The booster is a big donut shaped thing behind the master cylinder.

I have a 1998 Hyundai Elantra the signal, brake and tail lights are not functioning. I replaced the flasher fuse thingy. Can you help? I read it may be a combination switch but, I do not know where that...

First of all, I have no IDEA what a 'flasher fuse thingy' is. I suppose if you want to start replacing components without determining they are the cause of the problem, I think you should start with the battery and work your way to the rear tail lights. OR, you could have the problem properly diagnosed and then you'd know exactly what's wrong with your vehicle and precisely what's needed to fix it. Ya think?

2006 ford f250 diesel hard to start

The High pressure oil pump is going out.. This is the oil pump that operates your injectors .. when the oil gets hot this oil pump puts out less pressure and will not let the injectors operate right . when the oil is cold in the morning it will have more oil pressure because of the oil stiffness. later after ran a while and it gets warm it wont operate your injectors.. you can also change the oil to a heavier oil but this will only temp fix it.. .. good luck and this is what is wrong with it .. not sure what these cost but they are located at the rear of the engine on top .. on the 6.0 if i remember right not inside the engine.

Power steering

Sounds like a bad steering rack & pinion assembly... is it only bad in one direction or both...?
If both then it's the rack assembly... Hope this helps...;-)
