SOURCE: crank no start
you've got an open wire in your ignition system that's making fuses blow, i had the same thing happen to me check the wire that runs from the starter to the main fuse box and the wire from the battery to the fuse box. It will only be the wires that carry voltage, none of the ground wires should do that

Check all of the battery terminals and cables and check the wires on the starter/selonoid, start from the battery and follow the cable out and check all conections , clean and tighten them and if it still does it the starter/selonoid is bad and needs replacement...

Was the old fuel pump bad? It might be worth the cost to replace the ignition switch. The wires to the fuel pump would be a second guess if the old pump was bad and burnt the wires before the fuse went. When you eliminated the fuel pump you also eliminated the wires to the pump and it started. Then you replaced the pump, but not the wires. The ignition switch is the other end of the circuit.

Mine is doing the same thing. We are getting ready to replace the starter. Hopefully that is the problem. I'll let you know how it turns out.
