Removing Mold From Vinyl 1 Mix 1 gallon of warm water with 1 or 2 tablespoons of dish detergent in a bucket.
2 Dip a soft-bristled brush into the bucket and scrub away any mold from the vinyl surface, rinsing the brush in the bucket as needed.
3 Wipe the vinyl surface with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue.
4 Dry the vinyl with a towel. If possible, move the vinyl item to a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent mold growth in the future.

How to clean interior hard surfaces of mistubishi lancer?

Clean interior hard surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild all-purpose cleaner such as Simple Green, diluted about 10:1. If you have vinyl-covered seats, use a conditioner made for that material. Avoid products that give a high-gloss, slippery surface, so passengers won't feel like they're on a roller coaster. If you have leather upholstery, dress the surfaces with a leather conditioner. Never use a vinyl product on leather.

Worn or torn areas of vinyl can be repaired using kits made for this purpose that are available at auto supply stores. Repairs are made with a patch that lets you match the color and grain of your upholstery. Worn areas of leather can be touched up with dyes or a high-grade shoe polish. Just make sure you match the color as closely as possible.

The dash presents a special challenge, with buttons, crevices and bezels that you can't get to with a cleaning rag. You can blast dust and dirt from these areas by using small cans of compressed air made for cleaning camera and computer equipment. Cotton swabs also work well here. Pay attention to the cleaning products you use on your dash. If your dash has a flat finish, don't use a product on it that will leave you facing a shiny gloss.

Clean air vent grilles with cotton swabs and brighten them up by misting on some spray-on vinyl/rubber dressing or accent spray-just a touch. You can also use these products to cover up light scuff marks on wood trim. Spray the stuff on a soft towel and then apply it to the wood.

Clean glass or plastic gauge lenses with a glass or plastic cleaner, not wax. Pull off any removable knobs to clean the bezels underneath. Ever wonder where the haze on the inside of your windshield comes from since you don't smoke? It consists of plastisols given off as the plastics used in many new cars slowly cure. Not to worry-a good glass cleaner should remove it. If your windows are really cruddy, you may have to resort to stronger measures, such as scrubbing with 4-ought steel wool.

Good luck, i hope this will FixYa.

Hi how to take off vinyl covers seats on alfa romeo spider 86

IIRC......Remove seat.

Remove rear seat cover by sliding down after removing Phillips screws at bottom.

Inside you will see bolts holding seat head rests to seat.

Under seat are Hog Rings holding seat cover to frame.

So i want to change the interior from burgondy to tan and i could just hunt down another bronco and remove all the interior which is a pain....or i could pull out all the trim and moldings and paint them...

I used a vinyl spray for seats and trim on a boat. I was just spraying a different shade of yellow over the original yellow. It stuck well to the surface but it was sticky forever and attracted dirt and the dirt stuck to it.

If you can get hold of the people the Dealers call to repair Cigarette burns on seats and carpets, they could tell you about different products. I would not recommend the stuff I bought through J.C. Whitney.
Going from light to dark is possible, but I do not think you can go from a dark color to a light one.

I do believe you can get some new carpet through J.C. Whitney. If you need a little work on the seats you can have an Upholstery shop put in a different color insert and two-tone the seats to tie the colors together. When they pull the seats it would be simply for them to change out the carpet.

If the two-tone worked for you, then you may not want to fool with the headliner. I used to handle the new boxed Headliners at Ford. Even with the box, they were a pain.

Good Luck to you, I did not like my experience with the spray products.

How to remove the fiberglass cap under the vinyl roof on my car?

The car has the entire vinyl roof attached not to the roof but a fiberglass sub roof. To remove well that's the upholstery people secret and why they charge 700. To remove and replace after the glass co. Comes in and replacing e's the rear glass. There is a patent on it and different mold for every car.

How do I replace the back window?

Remove the black vinyl trim from the edge of the glass. Remove broken glass & urethane adhesive from the metal pinchweld leaving a thin layer (approx 1/16") of urethane for new new urethane to adhere to. Vacuum broken glass. Prime nicks to the metal to protect from rusting (also insuring a good surface to bond to). Attach vinyl reveal molding to glass (unless it's a "T" shaped push in type - it would install after the glass is set). Clean and prime the replacement glass. Apply new urethane adhesive. Set glass in place.Slide the metal joint cover in place on the molding (at bottom in the center). Clean outer surface of glass. Allow for safe drive away as noted by urethane manufacturer.

How to remove interior back dash on 2006 hyundai sonata

The shop manual does not illustrate the procedure for removing the rear package deck (back dash). This will be a lengthy description for removing this deck
1. Remove the rear seat bottom (2 12mm bolts located in between the seams at the seat back and the seat bottom (lower the seat backs and you'll have to feel for them). Remove them
2. Remove the seat bottom (two spring loaded clips at the front of the seat bottom).
3. Remove the 12 mm bolts at the bottom of both LH & RH shoulder cushions. Lift UP and then forward (careful you don't break the should cushion clips at the back of the cushions).
4. Using a small screwdriver, remove the SRS caps at the C-Pillar moldings (behind them are either two phillips head screws or 10mm bolts) - remove them
5. Remove the C-Pillar moldings -- they are 'Clipped' into position (use a flashlight to locate them and a long shaft plane screwdriver to help 'unclip' them).

ff32eaf.jpg lower the seat backs down. Note the trunk accessway side moldings (approximately 8 to 10 phillips head screws) remove them and the accessway moldings (you can'r remove the deck unless you remove these accessway moldings).
6. Find the plastic clips which hold the rear deck in place (usually yellow or blue)

0fbe0c6.jpg Remove the rear package deck.
Now, depending on what you want to do now... it's up to you.
Reassembly is in reverse order.
