You answered about my 05 Durango. We've jumped the fans and they work just fine and we've drove it and the fans won't kick on.

Sounds like a short in the switch for the fans. A fan turns on when something is reached, whether it be, temp or rpm, or any number of things. The fans work when you by-pass the switch and connect right to the fan. It's the switch

SOURCE: I drove to work fine got back in 4 hours later car won't start battery dead. then got a jump came home turn car off now car wont start.

If you just hear a click, try this:
This procedure usually works:
·Check the battery cable connections:
Make sure the positive cable, makes a good connection at the battery and at the starter. Make sure the negative cable makes a good ground connection at the battery and (preferably) at the engine.

·Check the battery the simple way, like this:
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.

·Check the starter and solenoid:
If the wiring looks ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection, and proper voltage at the starter(10 volts minimum while cranking).
If the starter spins and no crank, the problem is most likely the Solenoid's bendix gear is stuck.
Have someone hit (not too hard) the starter while you try to start the car. This usually works by dislodging a stuck bendix gear.
·Make a simple test of the alternator:
If you can, somehow get the engine running, measure the voltage at the battery. It should be at least 13.6 volts to properly charge the battery.

05 Durango 5.7 Hemi overheating. We replaced the water pump it was leaking. While we were doing that we changed the thermostat, flushed the radiator, replaced the belt and the coolant temp sensor.

You need to verify you have power going to the fans or run the Durango and see if the fan are coming on, you may have a bad wire or relay to the fans.

If your are saying that it takes a long time to heat up, you may have a stuck thermostat. Have you noticed the temp gauge reading low for a long time and then jumping up to high or normal temp all at once? That's a sign of a stuck thermostat. If that's the case, it's time to change it out and things should be fine.

My 2003 dodge durango keeps overheating , i just had new radiator put in and it started overheating again but now it is overheating with a very loud screeching noise like a belt sound what could be ca

as for noise will have to inspect under hood, could be fan or belt or pulley ,water pump .these are some things it could...My suggestion for overheating is replace thermostat. If your car has electric cooling fan then it may not be working..turn defrost on and if fan kicks on then fan motor is good..Now this does not mean that fan is working properly because fan is controlled by heat sensor switch that kicks fan on when motor reaches heat range......Things i would have checked....hope this information helps and good luck and Please rate my post...

A/C issue in Chrysler Pacifica

You will need to remove the dash to get to the duct work just to clean it properly. You may have some damaged blend doors that will need to be replaced.

"2003 Chevy Impala won't start". Car would not

The alternator is not charging,or the battery wont take a charge. If all accessories work fine when its running after you've boosted it,its likely the battery.

My 05 durango front A/C / Heater blower motor quit working all of the sudden. The rear controls still work fine. Not sure if it is a fuse, relay or something else simple. thank you

For similar issues always check the fuse first. Check if all speed are gone. It also could be the resistor that is connected between the switch and the blower. It cold also be loose wiring. You may need to inspect the said parts which is found behind the glove compartment.
