Take it to a shop. If you need to ask how it isn't something you can handle. I'm not trying to be mean. It is a tough job and everything has to be set perfectly for the car to run properly.

agree that starter is bad. to know if timing belt is starting to get bad is just look at the belt. if it is getting bad, there will be small cracks on the inside of the belt.

2003 toyota sequoia trouble shooting codes Po441, 0442 (Small leak detected), and 0446. Each code appears twice.

a lot of times, this is the gas cap not being put on tightly (one of the codes) you do still have to have a scanner to turn the light out, then see what codes come up

Timing chain or belt in 2004 toyota sequoia

Yes.
It has a belt. Service interval is 90,000 miles. This is an interference engine, so belt failure will result in a scrapped engine.
Cost should be around $600-$700. I would recommend replacing the water pump as well, as the timing belt needs to come off to to replace the water pump, and I wouldn't trust the pump to last 180k.

At how many miles should my timing belt be changed on my 2004 sequoia?

HI- Most manufacturers reccomend replacement at 90k, 180k, etc. Variables include other parts that may need replacing during these belt changes. Water pumps and timing belts should be purchased from the DEALERSHIP, regardless of who does work. This is proper, normal cost of maintaining your sequoia. Complete inspections and labor should be completed by mechanic familiar w/Toyota vehicles. Parts may run 150-250$. Labor depends on who ya know.- Hope this helps- Thanks- ED

When to replace timing belt

Recommended timing belt replacement.
90,000 miles
Note : This engine is an interference engine, which will cause major engine damage if belt is to break. Also good idea to replace water pump.

I have 107,000 miles on it and need to know what i need to do for service timing belt, waterpump etc

Take it to a Toyota dealer, if too expensive and want diy buy the car manual, Haynes have good books on the matter, at least you need a background on mechanics to do this.
