2001 oldsmobile aurora. My check engine light keeps comeing on withcode P0171 &P0131 I replaced the plugs and that didn't resovle the problem. Someone please tell me what can I do to fix it. It's the...

Replacing plugs, seldom solves any issues

They do wear, but are a preventative maint item

You have ( 2 ) O2 Sensor codes, as I guess you know

If they are at 100,000 miles, change the front 2 only

You have a lean condition--look for a vacuum leak first.

Next problem you have-- Change spark plugs at 70,000 miles or
after you solve your issues, not a fix

There are 4 spark plugs in the front (#'s 2,4,6 & 8) the other 4 are located in the rear. The fuel filter is located under the car next to the rear wheel on the same side as the gas cap.
