Where is the number 5 cylinder on a 96 astro 4.3l....i have a miss fire on the number 5 cylinder

In general GM uses this arrangement. Sitting in the drivers seat, the lift side of the engine is odd ( 1,3,5) right side is even (2,4,6) so it should be the rear cylinder on the drivers side.

I have a miss fire

Recheck the firing order; 1-6-5-4-3-2

On the distributor passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6-coil
On the distributor drivers side radiator to fire wall. 3-1-5

Cylinder passenger side radiator to fire wall. 2-4-6
Cylinder drivers side radiator to fire wall. 1-3-5

Good luck and also check the distributor cap again for proper seating.

Can not find crankshaft position senor on a 2003 nissan atlima 2.

I do not have a picture, but it is located on the right side of the engine on the back side of the engine next to the fire wall. It is very hard to get to without the car being on a lift.

The Spark Plugs are out of the correct order. What is the right firing order?

Ford settled on a single firing order for v6 engines covering many many years of vehicles: 1-4-2-5-3-6 The cylinder numbers are from the front of the engine left to right is 4-5-6 and the fire wall side is 1-2-3 The coil number from the front is 5-6-4 and to the fire wall side is 1-2-3. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted if you need more information, be glad to help

Blower motor

The blower motor is on the passenger side of the front seats, pull the carpet back and you will see it there. Make sure it's not the little computer sitting right next to the blower instead of the blower. When you turn the temp down to 65 does the little orange colored AC button light up? If not, it's the climate control computer which is sitting next to the blower.
