SOURCE: 1988 Chrysler New Yorker Auto Headlight panels won't stay open

It's possible the nylon gear in the door motor located behind center of grill is stripped. There is also an assist spring on the bar to the passenger side lamp door which may have become disconnected.
The motors cost around $80.00 for the part but if your just looking to keep them open you could insert a small screw near the pivot point of either lamp door.

SOURCE: how do i get the serpentine belt back on for a

There is a roller that provides tension on the belt to keep it in place. It is near the top of the engine. You can probably find a diagram on the internet that will show you which one exactly.

You take a wrench or socket-ratchet (I think about 14-15mm) and turn it clockwise to move the roller which loosens the tension. You will need to hold that tension while putting the belt on. When the belt is in position, let up on the tension and the roller will move back intoplace and tighten the belt.

I can not find the cruse control fuse for my 1988 crysler newyorker the book i bought for it want tell me were it is eaither

Usually your fuzes are either under the drivers side kick panel, up under the dash or under the hood, it may also be running in line with another circuit, if you have anything else that isn't working, you CC may be in line with that. Visually inspect all your fuzes by pulling them out one at a time to make suer their all good.
