    Hello Jimmy Foster,There are several V6 configurations.

    2.8L engine with distributor Firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor rotation: clockwise

    3.0L and 3.8L engines with distributor Firing order: 1-6-5-4-3-2 Distributor rotation: clockwise

    2.8L engine without distributor Firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor-less ignition

    3.1L (VIN T and M) engine without distributor Firing order: 1-6-5-4-3-2 Distributor-less ignition

    3.3L engine without distributor Firing order: 1-6-5-4-3-2 Distributor-less ignition

    3.8L engine without distributor Firing order: 1-6-5-4-3-2 Distributor-less ignition

100 psi per cylinder is way too low--should be in the vicinity of 150-165 per cylinder
back firing indicates wrong firing order and as you have replaced the plugs etc check that you have the leads on the correct plugs in the correct order
the timing for the engine should be around the 10 degree btdc and not tdc

yes, the four cylinder is TBI (throttle body injected0, the V6 is mulyi-port injected.

Your problem is the ignition module that is mounted under the ignition coils. This would have to be a 2.5. Good luck

Counter-clockwise on the distributor in the figure...it is 1-2-3-4-5-6....#5 is the blue one and #6 is the purple one then #1 and so on....
