SOURCE: How do i adjust the

If it is still there lift the plastic cap off the nut at the base of each arm. Remove the nut and pull the wiper arm up and off the splined shaft. May require a bit of rocking but do not pry on the glass. Put some masking tape on the glass along the top edge of the blade before pulling them off. That way you will know where they were. Put the arms back on, but set them higher on the tape, tighten the nuts, replace the covers and you are done. I use a bit of loctite on those nuts when I put them back on. The arms should not run off the driver window side at the top of their arc. You know before you even do this find a similar Saturn in a parking lot and take a cell phone picture of its wipers, make sure your arms look like those. Often times people put them on backwards, or get a wrong replacement, the arms are different for each side.

How do you adjust window angle 1999 Camry for better seal

you would need to remove the inner door panel. Loosen the bolts that hold the window regulator in place. Look for any slotted holes with the loosened bolt heads--those are your adjustment holes. Manually tip the window forward, noticing which bolts move and tighten accordingly.

How do you hold the cam gear and loosen the bolt? The gears are made of plastic .its a 2.5 Dohc is there a special tool ? I have a cam alignment tool but the bolts are gaulded and I don't want to break it.

Are there flats on the camshaft where you could put a spanner wrench? Or a place you could put a pipe wrench on? Maybe you could put the old belt on the cam gear and hold or wedge it tight somehow to loosen the bolt.

How do i replace the glass of the driver door window of a 1999 mercury sable

The regulator runs a track.. a strip of alluminum up and down, which the window(galss) itself rides on...There is either bolts or rivits in the metal ststrip....remove them and clean all the glass out of track and install new glass in track bolt it in and re-install the plastics and door skin or anything else you might have removed....BE CAREFULL THOUGH AS PUTTING YOUR HAND IN AND OUT OF THE CUTOUTS OF DOOR CAN LEAVE YOU WITH QUITE A FEW CUS AND SCRAPES......

How to lossen belt tensioner

If you look down the front of the engine from passenger side to drivers side behind the belts you will see a bolt head that fits a 13 mm socket. You will have to loosen the 15mm nut on the face of the idler pulley then you can turn the 13mm bolt in to tighten , out to loosen.

My 1999 silhouette driver side power window generally goes down ok but when it goes up the window begins to lean forward and gets into a bind. Are there some guides that might be missing? I have already...

its not sat correctly in the guides, normally there will be a adjuster on the door genrally a 10mm bolt loosen it and correct the position, also check the inner window seal rubber that runs down inside the door sometimes the seals are offset when the regulater broke it bends the metal strip that hold the rubber in the correct position.

1999 Volkswagen passat window doesn't work has power to it and td

THis is common Too common. As I posted before.

As I posted in the Passat questions.

The jetta may slightly differ.

Yes. If your window has fallen down and will not roll up.
99% Chance you car is suffering the Infamous VW plastic clip.

The door panel comes off With a T-10 torx or a Hex (Allen) wrench
that will fit and A large Philips Screw Driver..

Remove the Plastic cover on the inside Door handle.
And the Screw or Screw along the Bottom of the door panel.
Then remove the screws that hold the handle the the door.
They are located behind the Plastic plate you removed with a tiny screw driver earlier... Be careful not the mark up the cover whaytprying it up. It is best to pry from underneath. Where marks if made can not be seen

After the screws are out 4 I believe. The Use of a CLip tool ir best.
For getting behind the panel to pop it off. A screw driver will work.

After all the clips are released. Pull the light at the bottom of the panel down and out. Disconnect it ur push it back thought the hole it came from..

Now you need a 10mm socket, or wrench to remove the 12 bolts that hold the metal plate to the Door. Remove all the 10mm bolts, If the widow has not already fallen in the door. It should be released. By removing the Black 2" plugs. THe loosen the bolts that clamp the window the the arms. DO NOT LOOSEN THEM ALL the way, .
Disconect the all the wiring.. THe Door lock cable, can be a pain.
I think it pulls down,.
Next remove the Metal plate. that is the regulator.

reverse to install
